What's good about Jane Eyre?

I read a little in junior high school, but I didn't finish it. In college, my roommates liked the Bronte sisters very much, especially charlotte bronte. She shared her experience of studying in the dormitory every day. It can be said that she influenced me to finish reading this world famous book.

To say what's good about this work, I can probably say a few points.

It's not the inspirational Cinderella story that many people say. Jane is ordinary, not beautiful, neither tall nor thin nor small, not like the heroine of the novel at all, but she contains great energy. She didn't feel sorry for herself when she was treated unfairly; Having experienced poverty at school, she didn't give up on herself, but she still opened her eyes to find beauty. What I admire most is that even if love comes, I can remain calm and rational.

We can get a glimpse of the author's thoughts from the text. From Jane Eyre, we can see a lot of portrayal of Bronte's own experience, and we can also spy out her passion for life and longing for love from her words, and even imagine the love she yearns for.

The most important reason why I like Jane Eyre is that Jane Eyre has a kind of spiritual strength: no matter how many hardships she encounters, she still has great enthusiasm for life, and she can still stick to herself and pursue beauty and knowledge. In life, everyone will suffer some setbacks more or less, but these are not important. As long as we still have hope, everything will be fine.

I like the sentence in Jane Eyre best: Do you think I have no feelings if I am poor and not beautiful?

Everyone should be respected, have a self-respecting and confident soul, and strive for self-improvement at all times. This is my favorite trait of Jane Eyre.
