Pingtan blue tears are about to break out? Please keep this latest strategy for chasing tears.

Friends, in a blink of an eye, April is coming!

In April, apart from enjoying flowers in spring, what everyone is looking forward to most must be blue tears!

pieces of blue fluorescent light like blue tears spread all over the beach. The scenery is beautiful and dreamy, and every time I see the net map, I will be shocked.

So it's a little dream for me to see blue tears with my own eyes.

Chasing blue tears requires skill and experience, and it depends on luck. The difficulty is not small. There are not a few friends around me who haven't seen it after three or four times. I haven't chased it yet, and I'm going to make an effort this year.

Pingtan, Fuzhou is the first choice to see blue tears in China.

Pingtan is one of the regions where blue tears appear most frequently in the world. Although blue tears can also appear in other coastal waters as long as conditions are suitable, such as Songyu Wharf in Xiamen and Bohai Coast, the probability of occurrence is extremely low, so it is not recommended to pursue them specially.

Blue Tears appear at different times every year. This year, it came very early, and it appeared for the first time on March 2. Of course, it was not surprising that it was searched by hot search, and the reading volume exceeded 1 million.

It seems that there are not a few friends who are as eager as me, so I have done my homework for everyone.

Where and how to chase blue tears this year? Besides blue tears, what else is interesting and delicious in Pingtan? It is enough to read this article.

What are blue tears?

Before talking about Raiders, let's talk about popular science and shed blue tears.

Blue tears belong to a kind of marine red tide phenomenon, which can be vividly called marine flowering period, and are mainly caused by two kinds of luminous marine plankton, fireflies and noctiluca scintillans.

The light-emitting glands in their bodies will emit light blue when stimulated by the beating of the waves, so when a large number of fireflies and noctiluca explosively gather, they will form a beautiful fluorescent blue ocean, just like tears from the sea.

The appearance of red tide often means some abnormal changes in the local marine environment, which may be the eutrophication of seawater or the change of wind direction and rainfall conditions.

Blue tears themselves are not toxic and people can touch them. But in essence, as a red tide phenomenon, whether blue tears are marine pollution is still controversial.

Harmful red tide

But we still want to clear its name here. The appearance of blue tears is not a warning of water pollution, but it is precisely because the sea where it is located is very clear that it can be seen by us.

Only excessive noctiluca can lead to eutrophication, and the density of algae is accurately monitored by local scientists, so don't worry too much.

But we must persist in protecting the ecological environment!

When do the blue tears appear?

Blue tears in Pingtan usually appear from April to August every year.

Among them, April-May is noctilucent algae blue tears, so now it is the early stage of noctilucent algae blue tears.

Because noctiluca scintillans is a cold-water algae, when the water temperature exceeds its upper survival limit, blue tears will naturally disappear. The duration of this type of blue tears is also relatively short, usually about 3 seconds, and the tearcatcher must always be prepared.

July-August is the outbreak point of blue tears of fireflies.

fireflies are larger than noctiluca, so the granularity of blue tears will be clearer and brighter. Moreover, the survival time of firefly blue tears can reach 12 seconds, which is easier to capture.

According to the different marine environmental conditions, the duration of blue tears is different every year, ranging from 1 to 2 weeks to 1 to 2 months.

In fact, chasing blue tears will be very hard, although after sunset, blue tears will appear in places where there are no other light sources. But in general, the large-scale outbreak of blue tears is in the middle of the night (after 23 o'clock), and most tear catchers need to stay at the seaside after dark.

But the moment you see the blue aurora in the sea, you will feel that it is all worth it.

How to chase the blue tears?

Blue tears in Pingtan, as a natural phenomenon, can be predicted in real time. Although the accuracy is not too high, it can provide us with a general direction.

So before we leave, we can pay attention to the blue tears forecast and weather in Pingtan, WeChat official account, which can predict the location and probability of blue tears in the near future in real time. If there is a high probability of blue tears on that day, both numbers will send a notice.

Chasing blue tears is really metaphysics and needs good luck, so many people bow their heads and make a wish when blue tears appear.

Although chasing blue tears mostly depends on luck, you can also make some simple judgments when choosing the departure date.

For example, blue tears will only appear in sunny weather. If it rains continuously for a while, let's start at another time.

And if the wind is southerly, the temperature is warmer and the sea is still pale pink, blue tears will break out with greater probability that night.

On Pingtan Island, the blue tears are mainly in Longwangtou, Changjiang Ao, Dongmei Village, Tannan Bay and Houyan Island. Several points are not close, so it is recommended to concentrate on chasing one point every night.

In pursuit of blue tears, it is recommended to live by the sea and rent an electric car to travel, because once blue tears break out, there is a high probability that these spots will be blocked.

How to shoot blue tears?

There are three elements to shoot blue tears: long exposure, large aperture and tripod.

Set the camera to a large aperture of 2.8-4., bring a wide-angle lens and flashlight, and expose it for 4-8 seconds. If possible, it is best to bring a tripod and cable release. Just turn on the long exposure function.

Besides blue tears, how can Pingtan play?

Pingtan is the largest island in Fujian and the fifth largest island in China. It was also called Little Kenting before.

In addition to blue tears, the island is also very enjoyable. For example, taking a self-driving ride on the open coastal highway, seeing the windmill in the sunset and the stone cave by the sea are all great experiences.

Pingtan mainly plays around the island, with a northern line and a southern line:

The northern line: Donghai Fairyland-Beigang Wenchuang Village-Huandao Road-Jingsha-Changjiang Ao-Beibu Gulf Glass Plank Road;

South Line: Houyan Island-Haitan Ancient City-Tannanwan-Trunk Bay.

This trip is mainly about chasing blue tears, so let's arrange some games near the tears for everyone. Eat and stroll during the day, and stay close to blue tears at night.

How to get to Pingtan?

Let's talk about transportation first. It takes about 5 hours to take the high-speed train from Hangzhou to Pingtan Station, and the fare is about 3 yuan, which is quite convenient.

If you live near Fuzhou, it is recommended to drive by car. Pingtan Island is not small, the distance between each scenic spot is more than 1km, and the public transportation on the island is not convenient. It will be more efficient to drive by car or get off the high-speed rail.

Of course, it is not recommended to drive into the vicinity of the teardrop. You can rent a battery car to enter.

How to play in Pingtan?

_ Longwangtou

Longwangtou is one of the largest bathing beaches in China, with a long coastline of 9.5km and good beach quality. It is the nearest teardrop point to Pingtan City. Play in Pingtan city during the day, and stay in blue tears at night on the head of the Dragon King recently.

The surrounding facilities of Longwangtou are quite complete, and the younger facilities such as coffee shops and music teahouses are gradually enriched. You can swim and surf on the beach, or you can camp with a tent on your back. It is also an excellent place to watch the sunrise in Pingtan.

If you like to catch the sea, Longwangtou is also very suitable. There is a reef group in the sea between the main beach and Hongyan Villa, which will only be exposed to the sea when the tide is low. During the annual fishing ban, there will be trawling activities near the reef.

_ Changjiang Macao

Changjiang Macao has a good ecology and little light pollution, so it is easy to see the purest blue tears.

Besides, the Yangtze River Macao is also beautiful in the daytime. Windmills stand at the seaside in a patchwork way, which is beautiful and spectacular.

Compared with the hustle and bustle of Longwangtou, there are fewer tourists on the beach in Changjiang Ao, which is quieter, and there is a stunning sunset+windmill landscape. Just taking a group is a Japanese photo.

Changjiang ao is just beside the roundabout highway, so you can go for a ride. There are often cycling teams along the road, which is very chill and really has the style of Taiwan Province painting.

_ Dongmei Village

Dongmei Village is also one of the most frequented places for blue tears. On March 17th this year, the first blue tears appeared in Dongmei Village, so the chances of meeting them in April and May are quite high.

Dongmei Village is a simple small fishing village, surrounded by mountains and seas. Fishing boats are moored in the port of the village, and three or two fishermen come back from the sea in small boats, showing a quaint temperament, which is worth visiting and having a cost-effective meal in little seafood.

There is also a fairy well scenic spot next to Dongmei Village, which is a natural sea cave. From top to bottom, it looks like a huge well, with one side adjacent to the sea and one side separated from the sea by a huge stone wall.

The sea breeze beats the cliff with well water, and you can hear the deafening noise on the cliff, which is magnificent.

_ Tannan Bay

Tannan Bay has good natural scenery, and it is also a bathing beach. Compared with Longwangtou, it is not inferior at all, and the blue sea, white sand and green forest can be wiped out in one sweep. There will be bonfires on summer nights, which are rich in activities and very suitable for parent-child holidays.

At the same time, it has a long coastline of 22km, surrounded by hills, with rich layers of reef islands and wide horizons. If there are blue tears, the scene will be spectacular.

If you are tired of playing and don't want to go back, just rent a tent nearby and listen to the sound of the waves.

_ Houyan Island

Houyan Island is the closest place on the mainland to Taiwan Province, only 68 nautical miles, so Houyan Island is also called 68 nautical miles scenic spot.

The scenery on the island is no worse than the most beautiful highway around the island, and the whole island is almost unobstructed, open, bright and romantic.

Whether it's a beach trail or a rock scorched by the sun, there are good seats everywhere. Houyan Island suggested coming in the evening, not too sunburned, and chasing blue tears on the spot.

How to eat Pingtan?

_ Seafood Porridge

Recommended restaurant: Maoji Seafood Porridge

When you come to all coastal cities, you can't avoid this bowl of seafood porridge. At the seaside, it must be enough seafood. Remove the hair and order a huge amount of seafood porridge. The simpler it is, the more delicious the ingredients will be.

_ Bazhen Fried Cake

Recommended Restaurant: Haitan Special Snack

Bazhen Fried Cake is a kind of glutinous rice that can only be eaten in Pingtan. The sticky Q-bomb of sweet potato powder wraps the delicacy of seafood, so friends who love glutinous rice and seafood like me will probably not stop chopsticks.

I'm not saying that Pingtan people really know how to mix ingredients.

_ salty rice time

Recommended restaurant: no (roadside stalls are enough)

salty rice time should be the most famous traditional snack in Pingtan! In my opinion, it's a bit like Qingming Tuanzi in the south.

But in the south, pickles or bean paste are usually packed. Here, the stuffing naturally becomes all kinds of seafood, which is still seafood+glutinous rice. I can eat three at a time.

_ Fried oyster

Recommended restaurant: 68 seafood stall (Houyan Island branch)

Fried oyster is a classic street snack in southern Fujian. In Pingtan, laver will be mixed with various foods and become a wonderful combination.

The oyster fried with laver is covered with a crisp taste, which is a wonderful taste of adding fresh on top.

_ fish balls, fish dumplings

Recommended restaurant: food comes to run Pingtan snacks

Pingtan fish balls have many kinds of fish noodles, eel balls, mackerel slides, fish rubs and small fish balls. In fact, they are all kinds of fish with different proportions of cassava powder, which is a bit partial to the taste of Wenzhou fish soup, and QQ plays.

@ Eating eight pounds of fish dumplings at a meal is even more special. The skin is thin and the stuffing is thorough, and the dip is also delicious, like Pingtan version of crystal shrimp dumplings.

_ Seafood Noodles

Recommended restaurant: Qingkou Clear Soup Noodles (Xihang Road Branch)

The local seafood noodles in Pingtan will be lighter than those in other places, but the flavor will be purer.

For 3 yuan, you can order a bowl of noodles filled with ingredients. The seafood is so tightly spread that you can't even see the noodles, and it is super fresh.

Finally, I attach some suggestions on transportation and accommodation in Pingtan, and wish you all good luck and blessings!

Also welcome to talk about your experience of chasing tears in the comments section!

/ Traffic Tips /

Starting from Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, take the high-speed train to Pingtan Station for about 5 hours; If the departure place is close to Fuzhou, self-driving is more recommended; Pingtan Island is very large, and each scenic spot is far apart, so it is more convenient to drive by car or get off the high-speed rail.

There are two main types of transportation on the island: self-driving and battery cars; It is cheaper to rent a car and drive by car, but after the blue tears enter the outbreak period, the number of tourists in Pingtan Island will suddenly increase sharply, especially in the traditional punching place like Huandao Road, and the battery car will be more mobile;

There are sightseeing buses between the scenic spots along the coast. You can see the details by following "Pingtan Tourist Passenger Transport" on WeChat.

/ Accommodation recommendation /

Hotels/guesthouses in Pingtan are mainly located in county towns, with moderate prices; There are many choices of homestays on the island. The most dense place is in Beigang Village, which is also a very suitable place for strolling, and the supporting facilities will be relatively complete.

There are only natural villages on some small islands with beautiful scenery but little development, so accommodation is difficult to solve. Outdoor lovers can consider taking tents to camp when the temperature is warmer.
