How to treat dropouts?

I am a rural middle school teacher, and I have really seen too many children who have dropped out of school.

A small number of children drop out of school because family conditions are not allowed, for example, the family is too poor and parents do not attach importance to their children's education, so children drop out of school early; For example, if a child's parents die or get sick, and the child follows his grandparents or relatives, adults don't have enough conditions for the child to continue studying ... Every time I encounter this situation, I feel extremely sad. Although I can't bear to watch my children leave their beloved campus, there is nothing I can do.

Of course, most children drop out of school for their own reasons.

One is that children who stay at home are taken care of by grandparents. Grandparents are too old to give their children proper family education and take care of their studies; Also, because of grandparents' doting, they made small mistakes without punishment, and then intensified step by step, becoming an unattended child. At school, such children will choose to give up passively once they feel that they have encountered difficulties in their studies and unhappy things.

There is also a child who grew up in a doting environment. There is such a child in my class. If the teacher smiles at him, he will be all right. Once criticized by the teacher, he immediately changed his face and wanted to hit the teacher. Obviously, such a child is too loved at home, and his parents do everything he says, so he brings the sense of superiority at home to school. Of course, not everyone is used to him at school. When he encountered difficulties, he immediately chose to quit, dropped out of school and went home to live a "comfortable" life.

I can meet more than 15 of these two kinds of children every year. Children who were originally kind, kind and sunny left school early and played in the street all day because of misunderstanding of themselves and improper family education. Their lives are likely to be like this.
