Why do buddhas and bodhisattvas celebrate their birthdays? -to the heart, there is no compassion in the south, Guanyin Bodhisattva!

Today is February 19th of the lunar calendar, celebrating the birth of Guanyin Bodhisattva. All beings in the dharma circle are happy, respectfully offering, bowing and admiring the infinite compassion of the Bodhisattva. On the birthday of Guanyin Bodhisattva in my hometown, the biggest Buddhist event is to celebrate the birthday of Guanyin Bodhisattva. On February 19, June 19 and September 19 of the lunar calendar (in fact, it is the anniversary of the birth, enlightenment and becoming a monk of the Bodhisattva), countless men, women and children, holding fireworks and firecrackers, offered fragrant tea and fruits, flocked to nearby temples to celebrate the birthday of Guanyin Bodhisattva. These days, the temples that are usually deserted suddenly become lively, and the masters who are extremely leisurely at ordinary times have become particularly busy at this time. Because they are busy asking the Bodhisattva for all kinds of blessings for those devout men and women, and they are also busy receiving blessings with joy. Even those elderly people whose homes are far away from the temple are not convenient to go to the temple to celebrate the birthday of the Bodhisattva in person, they will ask someone to bring a support to the temple or burn a long incense at their door. This situation is really a hot stove, and the dharma circles have been smoked. I once worked in a temple twice to entertain pilgrims who celebrated the birthday of Bodhisattva. Therefore, I have the opportunity to get a general understanding of the basic demands of pilgrims. Most people just want money, officials, fame, profits, children, women, wives, husbands and so on. Among them, there are very few Buddhists who really want to live and die and express bodhicitta. One by one, they come to the golden signboard of "Do whatever you want" hanging in the Hall of the Great Hero, and most of them will be satisfied and go wherever they want. Year after year, the upsurge of celebrating the birthday of Guanyin Bodhisattva is getting higher and higher. Looking at these faces with different desires, I asked the bodhisattva this question: is avalokitesvara, who is merciful and compassionate, the same as secular people? You still have the same birthday as the world, and you also accept the support of tourists from all over the world? You have a birthday once a year, but that's not enough. Do you want to eat it three times? Perhaps it is because of the compassion and protection of the Bodhisattva. Not long after I asked this question, I found the answer from Lotus Sutra. It turns out that Bodhisattva's birthday is a great cause. As the saying goes, "convenience means convenience, and it is convenient to remove Buddha, but it guides all beings in name only." For the sake of convenience, I say all kinds of hardships to show nirvana. Although I am nirvana, I have not really died out. All laws are from the original, and I often die. The Buddha has done his way, and the afterlife is still a Buddha. If you are in the wilderness, you will build a Buddhist temple. Even children's games, collecting sand for pagodas. If so, everyone will become a Buddhist and a Taoist. If man-made Buddhism is the reason, then establishing various images and carving various phases will become Buddhism and Taoism. Or use seven treasures, stone copper, pewter lead tin and iron wood mud. Or take plastic lacquer cloth and strict ornaments as Buddha statues, such as all kinds of people, which have become Buddhism and Taoism. Colored paintings are Buddha statues, full of solemn blessings, which make people feel as if they are in the scene and become Buddhism. Even for children's play, if you draw Buddha statues with grass and pens, or with fingernails, such as painting people, you will gradually accumulate virtue and have great compassion, and it will become Buddhism. However, the bodhisattvas turned into countless people. If people live in pagodas, statues and portraits, they will be covered with fragrant flowers and respected. If you make people have fun, play the trumpet, flute, piano, pipa and cymbals. If it is a beautiful sound, try your best to support it. Or joyfully, praising Buddha's nature, even a small voice, has become Buddhism and Taoism. If people are absent-minded, even offering a portrait with a flower, they will gradually see countless Buddhas. Some people worship, or cross their hands again, or even raise their hands, or bow their heads slightly to prop up the statue and gradually see the boundless Buddha's light. There is no way to be self-contained, and there are countless people in breadth. When you enter nirvana, you die. If a person is distracted and enters the stupa temple, it is said that there is no Buddha in the south and it has become a Buddhist. " Careful readers, seriously play with this incredible scripture, and you will get a satisfactory answer. You will realize that the original three birthdays of Avalokitesvara are only based on the "pseudonym" of her mother-in-law's world, and its real significance lies in an important reason why Avalokitesvara let all beings in her mother-in-law's world become Buddhas. Here, the Buddha gives a message to all sentient beings: "Some people worship, or cross their hands, or even raise their hands, or bow their heads slightly, in order to show respect, and gradually see the boundless Buddha. If a person is distracted and enters the stupa temple, it is said that there is no Buddha in the south and it has become a Buddhist. " What's more, all sentient beings who celebrated Guanyin Bodhisattva's birthday in the past, present and future, no matter what they asked for, thought and got at that time, the final result will gradually become infinite buddhas and become supreme. This truth is true! After reading this, you may ask, there are so many merits in celebrating Guanyin's birthday, but those three birthdays are still too few! If only Bodhisattva had a birthday every day! Actually, you don't have to worry. It is true that every day is Bodhisattva's birthday, but we didn't know it at first! Please read the book "The Masterpiece of the Lotus Sutra Guanyin Bodhisattva" carefully again, and unlimited interest will naturally appear, and all the reasons will naturally be understood. As the saying goes: "The boundless Buddha Bai Buddha said:' Buddha! Why did Guanyin Bodhisattva travel to this world of concubines? What is the cloud of all beings? "What is the power of convenience?" Buddha told Bodhisattva endless meaning:' Good man! If there are still people in the country who want to live as Buddha, avalokitesvara is Buddha. It should be said that people who have freed themselves from the Buddha body can now free themselves from the Buddha body; It should be said that people who have heard of good health have heard of the body now; It should be said that Brahma is in good health, that is, Brahma is in good health now; It should be said that the emperor is an interpreter to a certain extent, that is, the current emperor interprets the body; It should be said that people who are comfortable in heaven are now comfortable in heaven; It should be said that people who are comfortable in heaven are now comfortable in heaven; It should be said that the physical strength of the heavenly generals is the physical strength of the heavenly generals; It should be said that healthy people are now in the shaman's body; It should be said that Xiao Wang is physical, that is, physical now; It should be said that the elderly are healthy, that is, the elderly are now healthy; It should be said that laymen are laymen; It should be said that the people who killed the official body are now killing the official body; It should be said that a brahman is a brahman, that is, he is a brahman now; It should be said that monks, nuns, excellent girls and excellent girls are in good health, that is, monks, nuns, excellent girls and excellent girls. It should be said that the elderly, laymen, butchers and women are in good health, that is, women are in good health now; It should be said that virgins and virgins are healthy, that is to say, virgins and virgins are healthy now, and immortals, dragons, witches, godmothers, Asura, Gruda, Kinnara, Moluccas and non-human creatures are healthy. It should be said that the person who holds the power of the King Kong God now holds the King Kong God. "Endless meaning! It is the achievement of avalokitesvara, such as merit, traveling around the world in various forms and freeing all beings, so you should devote yourself to supporting avalokitesvara. It is the Guanyin Bodhisattva, who can be fearless in fear and crisis. Therefore, this woman is called fearless in the world. " "We think it over. Since Bodhisattva has traveled all over the country in various forms, what is the reason why Bodhisattva's birthdays are only February 19th, June 19th and September 19th? Obviously not. Every day is the birthday of Bodhisattva. Besides, Master Yin Guang, the thirteenth ancestor of Pure Land Sect, once taught us that everyone is a bodhisattva and I am the only ordinary person. Besides, in the void, in the dharma world, there are countless buddhas and bodhisattvas who speak for all beings! So, 365 days a year, which day is not the day when Bodhisattva was born? When is it not the day when the Bodhisattva attained enlightenment? When is it not the day when the Bodhisattva becomes a monk? I think all Buddhists should establish such a state of mind, that is, to celebrate the birthday of Guanyin Bodhisattva with respect, worship, joy, support, equality, devotion, and bodhicitta every day. Then, to become a Buddha without seeking to become a Buddha, you should be born in the west without seeking the west.
