One of the most interesting relationships I have ever had was with a black woman. We are no longer together, but she is still one of my best friends. She has several friends, all black. I think they are very attractive. I was told that in one case, the feeling is mutual.

I am dating a white woman now. I hope she and I will get married one day, but if it doesn't work out for some reason, I must find a new girlfriend. Race is definitely not a problem for me. Growing up, I never discriminated against others because of my skin color. I have lived in the southern part of the United States all my life, and I am with black people every day. I won't feel uncomfortable with them, and I won't feel uncomfortable dating them if I have the same interests.

But it was just me. Some white men are not interested in black women (and vice versa), not because they are racist or anything else. Some people are just attracted by their own race.
