As a member of Beipiao, I have been to Fangshan for 4 years, and I have basically been to all the scenic spots in Fangshan. If you want to spend a day in Fangshan, Beijing, I especially recommend that you go to Yunju Temple and Shihuadong Scenic Area. Basically, one day is enough. Yunju Temple 1

Yunju Temple is located in Shuitou Village, Dashiwo Town, Fangshan District, southwest of Beijing, 70 kilometers away from the city center. Yunju Temple was built in the late Sui Dynasty and early Tang Dynasty. Originally known as "Zhiquan Temple", it was later renamed as "Yunju Temple". It covers an area of 0.07 square kilometers. After years of renovation, five courtyards and six halls have been formed. The scenic spot consists of Yunju Temple, Shijingshan Tibetan Sutra Cave and Tang Liao Pagoda Group, which constitute a treasure house of Buddhist cultural characteristics in China.

Yunju Temple has successively won the honorary titles of national key cultural relics protection unit, national AAAA-level tourist scenic spot, Beijing civilized tourist scenic spot and Beijing patriotic education base.

2. Fangshan Shihuadong Scenic Area

Fangshan Shihua Cave Scenic Area is one of the largest karst caves in northern China, in which the karst cave geological landscape is typical, diverse, natural, complete and rare, which brings together the essence of the karst cave landscape in the north and south, and is known as "underground geological wonders and karst cave museum".

Fangshan Shihua Cave Scenic Area belongs to karst caves and secondary chemical deposition landscape in caves, covering an area of 84.66 square kilometers. More than 65,438+000 caves have been proved and verified. It is famous at home and abroad for its typicality, diversity, naturalness, integrity and rarity of geological landscape, and is called the encyclopedia of geoscience knowledge.

Self-driving: Shi Jing Expressway Fangshan (Dajian Road, Yancun) exit along Beizhen (Yandong Road) to Shihuadong; Shi Jing Expressway Fangshan Liangxiang Airport exit passes through Qinglong Lake and Beicheying to Shihua Cave, and 108 National Road turns to Yandong Road to Shihua Cave.
