As far as China and Russia are concerned, Central Asia has always been a safe backyard since the relaxation of relations between the two countries. Once the United States gains a foothold in Afghanistan, China and Russia will lose a stable rear area.

Looking at Russia, Central Asia, its traditional sphere of influence, will also be severely impacted. Once Central Asia falls into the hands of US forces, Russia's huge and weak North Asian plate will also face serious threats.

As the leading geopolitical power in the Middle East, Iran has seriously affected the United States' control over the region, thereby seriously threatening the core of the United States' world hegemony - the petrodollar. Of course the United States wants to remove this thorn in its side, but Iran is not easy to deal with. In addition, it is located to the north of the Caspian Sea and Turkmenistan, and can receive direct support from Russia. Looking at the United States, which is far away in the Western Hemisphere, its geopolitical relationship with the Indian Ocean Plate is very alienated. All these make it difficult for the United States to directly eliminate Iran.

However, once Afghanistan is occupied, Iran's entire western half will be seriously threatened by the United States. If the United States can properly manage Afghanistan, it can use this as a basis to form a pincer attack on Iran from both sea and land directions.
