Changes in hometown

My hometown Guixi has changed a lot in recent years. Just talk about the building that came out of our school! My parents told me that this road was not like this when I was a child. When the weather is fine, this road is "Lime Road". The dust was flying behind the car, and passers-by hurried by, covering their noses, but the dust still fell on the pedestrians' heads, and even the leaves were covered with thick dust. When it rains, this road becomes a "cement road". The road was bumpy and filled with a lot of mud. As soon as the car passed, mud splashed on the clothes of passers-by. At night, the steps of this road are dark and there are no street lamps. If someone walks on this road and accidentally steps into a puddle. This road has changed a lot now. The road is covered with a thick layer of asphalt, with flowers and trees on both sides, and the sidewalk is covered with colored floor tiles. When the weather is fine, cars come and go, and the flow is endless. Children play on both sides of the road, adults move out of the table to play mahjong and poker, and the old man sits in a chair to bask in the sun. When it rains, the asphalt road seems to have just been washed and the water flows into the ditch. The flowers and trees on both sides of the road look more lovely and colorful. At night, the lights on both sides of the road lit up for a long time, like a shining dragon lying on the ground. Adults on the roadside take their children for a walk, and the old man comes out to exercise on the sidewalk after eating. Ah! This is my beautiful hometown, and it is still changing.
