Yuan Shen and Consciousness God

I watched a lecture on traditional Chinese medicine last night. Professor Pan Yi talked about the heart in Zangxiang theory, and then talked about the soul and consciousness. It happened that Yuan Shen was also mentioned in "Zhuan Xi Lu" last week, so I listened especially carefully and took notes.

The Yuan Shen is innate and belongs to water (the water is calm, the quieter the environment, the stronger the Yuan Shen’s control over people). It exists in the brain, functions independently, and uses the Yuan Shen to nourish the body.

Chapter 57 of "Zhuan Xi Lu", "Ask the immortal family about the vitality, the vitality, and the essence. The teacher said: There is only one thing, the flow is Qi, the condensation is essence, and the wonderful function is Shen." Here Yuan Qi Yuan Shen Yuan Jing, Yang Ming refers to "conscience".

Conscience, like the soul, is born with water. When people calm down, their instincts are good. Only when they want something, they will jump out of the soul and go to the consciousness. This is the call of conscience.

Jung, a disciple of Freud, proposed the concept of the subconscious, that is, the unconscious. Finally, it extends to the collective subconscious. This is quite interesting. You can talk about it a few more words. Suppose that the parents in a family are very honest and good-natured. They give birth to four children, three of them follow their parents, and the other one is restless and very creative, or There is a person who is very rebellious and becomes a traitor to the family or even the nation, or there is depression in the family. Analysis of the reasons is not only that the child may have encountered an event in his childhood that stimulated him, but also factors inherited from his family's ancestors. This factor is called an archetype. There are often multiple archetypes that are inherited in descendants. A certain descendant will have more of them, and certain archetypes will be evident in a descendant. And the life experience of this descendant will make these prototypes manifest. be more obvious. This is unique to human beings, such as eating habits and thinking patterns.

When people enter samadhi, they are using their Yuan Shen, and the functions of the Yuan Shen are fully exerted, that is, doing nothing but doing everything. Each word in the word tranquility and nothingness is a step forward. When you really relax, you will reach the most harmonious state of body and mind. The soul is hidden in the brain, without thoughts or worries, and is naturally empty.

Next, let’s talk about consciousness, which is an activity of thinking and seeing based on the soul. It is acquired, belongs to fire, and is stored in the heart. Its activities can interfere with the soul, that is, it is not peaceful. For example, intellectuals often Too much thinking disturbs the soul too much, and the soul has less time to maintain health, so most of the health is not good. Mr. Yang Jiang is a scholar. She concentrates on what she does and thinks little about other things. She doesn’t pay attention to fame and wealth. When she is so focused, her consciousness retreats and her soul is online. That’s why people live longer. Nowadays, many centenarians are living longer. This is exactly the reason why it is very tranquil. The person who knows God comes from the heart with thoughts and worries, and the spirit is not empty.

The characteristic of Professor Pan Yi's lectures is that they can be taken out and brought back again, from traditional Chinese medicine to Western psychology to contemporary Chinese intellectuals to Chinese studies.

He is very good at the Book of Changes. For example, in the relationship between Yuan Shen and Shen, he mentioned that the heart is fire and is Li. The Li hexagram is hollow.
