Functions of multimeter

The multimeter has the function of measuring resistance, voltage and current.

It can not only measure all kinds of current, voltage and audio frequency, but also measure parameters such as AC current, semiconductor and capacitance. With the development of science and technology, there are more and more functions of multimeters on the market, and some can also measure capacitors and triodes.

The "omnipotence" of multimeter is obviously not just talk, because it has many functions, and it goes without saying that it can measure basic functions such as voltage, current and resistance. In addition, it can also be used to judge the on-off (or good or bad) of related semiconductors such as lines, diodes or triodes, and even measure the frequency, capacitance and triode amplification.

Function use

The multimeter has two probes, black and red. The black probe is inserted into the COM hole, and the red probe is inserted into the right side (the hole is marked with symbols such as voltage V and resistance ω) when measuring voltage and resistance, and the left side (mA, μA or A) when measuring current according to the range. In fact, except the current is measured in the left hole, all other variables are measured in the right hole (the same hole as the voltage).

The multimeter can also measure whether there is electricity in the line and the strength of the voltage signal. Turn the multimeter to the "NCV" position. At this time, the multimeter will be close to the line and the screen will display "bar". The stronger the voltage signal, the more bars there are. The stronger the signal, the faster the beep sound except for the more signal bars.
