What are the main symptoms of pharyngitis?

Pharyngolaryngitis is a disease caused by bacteria, which can be divided into acute laryngitis and chronic laryngitis.

Acute pharyngitis: Adults mainly have pharyngeal symptoms. At the beginning of the disease, there is dry itching, burning sensation and progressive pain in the pharynx, which is aggravated when swallowing and saliva is increased. When the lateral pharyngeal cord is involved, there is obvious earache. Adults or children who are weak have obvious systemic symptoms, such as fever, chills, headache, loss of appetite, limb aches and so on.

Chronic pharyngitis: self-conscious throat discomfort, dryness, itching, abdominal distension, excessive and burning secretions, easy dryness, foreign body sensation, inability to cough and swallow. The above symptoms are aggravated after talking more, eating irritating food, fatigue or weather changes. Breathing and swallowing are smooth.
