In the last appreciation of Untitled Last Night's Stars and Last Night's Wind, we talked about Li Shangyin's poetic characteristics and artistic achievements, so I won't repeat them here. Here, we will focus on why Li Shangyin is so talented and why his career is a mess.

Explain the poem first. This is a seven-character poem with a rigorous rhythm. The first sentence is "the world is prosperous and withered", with a flat and even rhyme format. The whole poem is in line with the even rhyme, with the rhyme of "eleven truths", the jaw joint is a pair of reality and the neck joint is a pair of juxtaposition, which is exquisite and neat.

There is a unique way to attract the eyes of poetry in the finite method, which is suitable for most poems. That is the "interception method". It is much easier for us to remove the mandibular joint and the cervical joint, leaving the first section and the last section to form a four-line poem, which is convenient for everyone to see the theme of the poem:

"If you want to chase a thousand miles of waves, Yuelongmen and Carp will go to Jingwei, but you can't help but find the way to Longmen."

It can be clearly seen that this poem is the author's expression of his depressed psychology of being abandoned and unable to serve the country.

As a supplementary description of the whole poem, the strokes of Chinese couplets are more abundant. For example, the jaw couplet "Even if there are flowers and moons, there is no wine and no one" has become a famous sentence handed down from generation to generation, meaning "Spring comes with flowers and moons, no wine and no company", which is quite suitable for modern people to express their loneliness, so it is widely circulated. Necklace "blue robe like grass, white hair like silk." Official uniforms, like those grasses, have the same color year after year, which means that there is no promotion, but the white hair on their heads is getting more and more day by day.

But since ancient times, Ding You, an official, has to leave his post and become an official again in a few years. Why is Li Shangyin so depressed and laments "I don't know how to get to Jinlong"?

The imperial examination system in Tang Dynasty is actually a recommendation system, and it is difficult to get ahead without the recommendation of senior officials. Although Li Shangyin was also an official second generation, his father died too early and his son was not exposed in broad daylight. Nobody recommended him. Although he has a genius, Jinshi has always been the first.

At this time, he met the first noble person in his life-Linghu Chu. He not only admired him, but also helped him gain a scholar, made friends with Bai Juyi and others, and became friends with Chu's son Mao. However, after Ling Huchu was transferred to Chang 'an as a Beijing official, Li Shangyin lost his backer and went to Wuwangshan to study Taoism for several years.

Then he met the second noble man in his life, Wang Maoyuan. Wang Maoyuan was our envoy in Jingyuan at that time, equivalent to the commander of the military region. He likes him very much and married all his daughters to him. Thanks to my father-in-law, I can finally stand out.

As a result, it fell into the "Niu Li Party Struggle", that is, the factional struggle of the high-level political core of the imperial court. Father-in-law Wang Maoyuan is the Li Party in Li Deyu, and teacher Ling Huchu is the Niu Party of Niu Sengru. It's not easy. No matter which faction regards him as an enemy, can there be a good life? So he won the Jinshi and was repeatedly brushed in the examination of the official department. I don't know where to put him.

Li Shangyin's official career was defeated by the sandwich man. In addition, he attached importance to feelings and wanted a wife and friends, and neither side abandoned him. As a result, both sides ignored him. However, "Articles Hate Destiny" is brilliant in literary talent, which created a unique school of poetry in the late Tang Dynasty and became the originator of "Kunxi Style" in the early Song Dynasty. It also influenced many poets in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and even the later works of Nalan Xingde were full of the flavor of Li Shangyin.

But he was still depressed at the time. This is why there is such a sad poem as "Spring Day" in the bright spring.

Therefore, in this life, it is not necessarily a good thing to have more people.
