When I was decorating, I didn’t understand the construction standards, so I was always fooled by the decorators. During the decoration process, I found that some parts of the original design were unreasonable, and it was difficult to make changes at this time.

Most people only buy one or two houses in their lifetime, and they rarely come into contact with decoration. Therefore, when facing the decoration of their own houses, they are always troubled by some problems. During the decoration process, I was troubled by the following problems: I didn't understand the construction process, and I couldn't tell if the workers cut corners.

During the decoration process, because my knowledge reserve is limited, I don’t know what processes need to be gone through during decoration. For example, when painting a wall, how to treat the wall before painting it. How many times do you need to apply this putty powder, how many times do you need to apply latex paint, and whether you need to use wall protection net when painting the walls, etc.

I know only a little about this knowledge. When the workers don’t hang the protective netting on the wall for you, because you don’t know this knowledge, you can’t tell it yourself. Therefore, after the later decoration is completed, some problems will occur, such as wall cracks, latex paint peeling, peeling, etc. Workers have their own ideas. When you communicate with them about the results you want to achieve, they will always find reasons to deceive you because they find it troublesome.

Some workers do not operate according to the construction drawings. When you tell them to operate in that way, they find various reasons to deceive you. They tell you what problems that will cause. In fact, They are just afraid of trouble.

But you can’t argue with them, because when you offend the workers, you may not know what they will do to your home. The original drawings were not designed properly, and it was time-consuming and labor-intensive to wait until halfway through the construction to make changes.

When the decoration work was almost done, we discovered that we had forgotten to install a double-switch light in the room. At this time, it was difficult to install another switch.
