Mozi and Mencius

During the Warring States period, governors attacked each other, wars were frequent, and people were displaced and miserable.

Mozi led his disciples to lobby around and dissuade the rulers. Public failure is one of them. Mozi heard that Chu was going to attack the Song Dynasty, and the public transport class had built a ladder for the king of Chu. Mozi trudged for ten days and nights to see Lu Ban. Lu Ban shirked: The ladder has been built, and the king of Chu has given an order. There is no such thing as giving up. Mozi came to lobby the king of Chu again. Using vivid stories to force the king of Chu to admit that it is unwise to attack the state of Song! The king of Chu asked the two men to demonstrate the way of attack and defense. Nine sets of nine refusals, the siege machine is near, and there are still many means of refusing to defend. Lu Ban became angry from embarrassment and moved to kill his heart. Mozi had answers and smiled. Hit the nail on the head. The king of Chu finally gave up the idea of attacking the state of Song. Mozi fought bravely and lobbied successfully.

The stories of the three major movements in Meng Mu are well known. Mencius became the most important Confucian thinker after Confucius. Known as Yasheng. His thoughts include the theory of good nature, the theory of kingship and benevolence. Man is nobler than man.

People on earth are good at living. For the beauty of the palace, for the matter of wives and concubines, for what I know, I am poor and lacking. I accepted it without arguing about etiquette. It's a sign of loss of sincerity. Mencius laughed at people who forgot their righteousness and criticized their behavior.

At the critical moment of life, when faced with a choice, we should sacrifice our lives for justice. Put national interests first and dedicate your youth and blood to the country. It can be seen that Mencius' sacrifice for righteousness still has its practical significance today.

Mozi loves and doesn't attack, and Mencius gives up his life for righteousness. Their thoughts are shining with dazzling brilliance. We draw nutrition from it and guide our behavior. In life, be a person who loves justice and keeps integrity!
