The following is purely my personal opinion, based on my own reading of Water Margin. Please correct me if there is anything wrong.

First of all, let's talk about Song Jiang. The original work of Water Margin highlights that Song Jiang is a hero who values loyalty and friendship. It is called "timely rain" on the rivers and lakes, and its name is widely known by heroes from all directions, although they have never seen it with their own eyes. Secondly, Song Jiang is a man of loyalty and filial piety. Of course, in the social environment at that time, loyalty was for the monarch and filial piety was for the father. In order not to discredit my family, I refused to become an outlaw in Liangshan as long as there was a glimmer of hope, but I finally had to join Liangshan and become an outlaw. When I was a mountain king on the mountain, I always took "justice for heaven, loyalty and righteousness" as a cottage, hoping that the court would win me over and let my brothers and I leave the name of loyal ministers in the history books, not bandits. Therefore, according to China's traditional thought, Song Jiang is a loyal man, and I guess this is also Shi Naian's original intention. But in the end, he was devoted to filial piety, but in the battle with Liao, Hebei, Huaixi Wangqing and Jiangnan Fang La, Liangshan people suffered heavy casualties, which led to the tragic end of the vigorous water margin uprising.

Besides, Song Wu is really a hero. When he sees the rugged road, he can draw out his sword to help him. He is a fearless Lord. Beat Ximen Qing, beat Jiang Menshen drunk, and shed blood in the Yuanyang building, all of which are such portrayal. But he is also a grumpy person. This point was already explained when Wu Songgang starred in Water Margin. At that time, I quarreled with Song Jiang and called him a guest when he first arrived. The account in the book is that Song Wu, with his skill, bossed around the Zhuangke in Chai Jin, punching and kicking when something happened. Nobody said a good word about him. After a long time, Chai Jin also snubbed him. Later, I wanted to go drinking (disguised as a walker at this time). Regardless of whether Kong Liang had booked a hotel in advance, I had to let people leave, and I had to teach Kong a lesson. If it weren't for Song Jiang, I would have lost my life.

Lin Chong, on the other hand, is an all-rounder in civil and military affairs, which conforms to China people's aesthetic standards and treats people kindly. As a military commander, he is also gentle, talented but low-key. Be considerate to your wife and filial to your father-in-law. I can tolerate everything, but if I can handle it as a trivial matter, I don't want to expand it, which fully reflects the general psychology of China people. But Lin Chong only saw the formula of forbearance, but did not see "the last straw, no more forbearance". Tolerance to the enemy is cruelty to oneself until the family is ruined and there is no way out. Sorry to rush to Liangshan.

Lu's personality is what I admire most. He dares to love and hate, and keeps his word. Is a brave hero, but also a very strict, in order to have nothing to do with Jin Cuilian can kill the town of Kansai. But there seems to be only one way for him to help people: hitting people. In Taohua Village, the daughter of the landlord got into a fight with the bully Zhou Tong in the middle of the night. Lu is a lovely, loyal and straightforward person. He doesn't have any intrigue, but he can try his best to stop others. The only time he was injured in the war was when Wu Yong let him cheat and lost to Zhang Qing, and he got a flying stone in the process of buying a flaw. This shows that he is a careful person.

As for Li Kui jy, he is absolutely frank, and his heart is not very bad. People treat him well, he can repay you very much, but if you treat him badly, he will definitely retaliate against you, and he will kill people like stepping on ants. He has no human rights in his eyes and is a cruel man. Therefore, he is a rare good soldier in the war, but without brains, it is easy to destroy the overall situation and often do bad things with good intentions. He is a guy that people love and hate.
