"Fifteen Years of Waiting for Migratory Birds" is an urban youth idol drama adapted from Yingfeng's novel of the same name. Fifteen Years of Waiting for Migratory Birds plot synopsis:

18-year-old Li Li (Sun Yi) (played by Zhang Ruoyun) noticed this handsome and cynical young man Pei Shangxuan (played by Zhang Ruoyun) on the first day he entered high school. He warmed Li Li's life like a ray of sunshine. This pair of ordinary-looking girl and handsome boy, the girl with excellent academic performance and the boy with the lowest grades are destined not to be an enviable match made in heaven.

In the next fifteen years, Li Li was the only constant friend in Pei Shangxuan's life. When he was broken up in love, frustrated, and even lost his freedom, Pei Shangxuan was Li Li's best friend. The only unchanging true love is when she is lonely, happy, and even when her life is in danger.
