After passing the Daxinganling area, I didn’t stop too much. I continued north along G111, plunged into the dense Daxinganling forest, and then entered the border of Heilongjiang.

The roads here basically go through the forest. Most of them are single-lane and two-way. You need to pay special attention to safety when turning.

Not long after entering Heilongjiang, there was Xinlin Town. There was a "primitive forest park" with a parking lot and a duty room. Now I can't remember whether there is an entrance fee. I was not charged a ticket when I entered, and no one asked.

It was also here that I met a brother and sister who were traveling by car from Yunnan (they were retired). They saw me cooking for myself in the parking lot and curiously looked at my cooking equipment. and a simple lathe.

I remember that it started raining while I was cooking at noon that day, and the rain in the forest area came as soon as I could. We communicated while holding umbrellas, and we could feel from their words that they still admired me for coming out alone and taking care of food and accommodation by myself.
