About earthmoving vehicle calculations
To calculate the earth-moving vehicles, you first need to calculate the volume of the earth-moving vehicles as follows and then divide it by the cubic number of the vehicles to know the number of earth-moving vehicles required.
1. The volume of earthwork should be calculated based on the natural dense solid volume before excavation. The calculation coefficient of earthwork volume can be found in Table 1 on page 13 of "Henan Province Construction Project Bill of Quantities Comprehensive Unit Price" A Construction Project Suggestions. (Virtual soil in the table refers to naturally piled soil without compaction and filling; natural dense solid soil refers to Untouched natural soil; rammed soil refers to soil that has been rolled and compacted in layers according to specifications; loose fill soil refers to excavated natural soil that is naturally piled in trenches without being compacted)
2. The average thickness of excavated earth shall be determined based on the average thickness between the natural ground measurement elevation and the design floor elevation. The depth of foundation earthwork and stone excavation should be determined based on the elevation of the bottom surface of the foundation cushion to the elevation of the delivered construction site. If there is no elevation of the delivered construction site, it should be determined based on the natural ground elevation.
3. The excavation, filling, and leveling of the building site with a thickness within plus or minus 30cm should be listed as leveling the site in A1.1. The flat site shall be calculated based on the size of the design drawing and the area of ??the first floor of the building. Vertically arranged excavations or hillside cuttings beyond plus or minus 30cm should be listed as in A1.1. Vertically arranged excavation and pipe supports, sewers, septic tanks, manholes and other sporadic projects are not included in the calculation of site leveling. Fences, trenches, water towers, and chimneys are calculated and leveled based on the foundation pit cushion area.
4. The excavation includes strip foundation, independent foundation, full hall foundation (including foundation underneath) and equipment foundation. Strip foundations should be listed according to different bottom widths and depths, and independent foundations and full hall foundations should be listed separately according to different bottom areas and depths. The engineering quantities are calculated by multiplying the bottom area of ??the foundation cushion by the excavation depth according to the dimensions shown in the design drawing. Among them, the length of the trench is dug. The outer wall is calculated according to the center line length as shown in the figure; the inner wall is calculated according to the net long line length between the bottom surfaces of the foundation cushion as shown in the figure; the volume of the internal and external protruding parts (stacks, wall-attached chimneys, etc.) is incorporated into the trench earthwork Calculated within project quantities.
5. Pipe trench earth excavation trenches are listed separately, and their engineering quantities should be calculated based on the length of the pipe trench centerline shown in the design diagram multiplied by the volume of the cross-sectional area. When designing with a pipe trench, the average depth is calculated based on the elevation of the bottom surface area of ??the trench cushion to the elevation of the delivery construction site; when designing without a pipe trench, the depth of directly buried pipes should be calculated based on the average depth from the elevation of the outer surface of the bottom of the pipe to the elevation of the delivery construction site. If the width of the ditch bottom is specified in the design, it shall be calculated according to the dimensions specified in the design. If there is no specification in the design, the width shall be calculated according to the width specified in Table 2.
6. When quicksand or silt appears during excavation. Visa processing can be carried out according to the actual situation.
7. The original soil rolling at the construction site is calculated based on the area required for rolling, and the filling soil rolling is calculated based on the volume as shown in the figure.
