A Lost Dream in the Sea

The writer Liushahe has eight questions about dreaming in his book "Shu Yu Zhi Xiao". One of the questions was "Floating in a dream". Because I have dreamed many times that I am flying under the blue sky, which can be said to be over the mountains and over the sea... Regarding this phenomenon, the author quoted the explanation from "Cars of the Gods": The distant ancestors of human beings came to the earth from extraterrestrials. During the voyage, we floated weightlessly in the spacecraft, forming memories and passing them on to us, thus appearing in dreams.

Another example is the question "Dreams of Anxiety Disorders". The author ends with the sentence in "The Interpretation of Dreams": Anxiety in dreams is a problem of anxiety, not a problem of dreams.

To be honest, I disagree with this determination. Regarding the anxious issue in the dream, if it is not a dream, where does the anxiety come from? I am a person who loves to dream, and now is also the year of destiny. Summarizing the dreams I have, there are all kinds of surprises. But when you have an anxiety dream, you often look forward to it in the dream and comfort yourself: This is a dream, this is a dream, wake up soon, wake up soon...

There is another question worth writing. "Dream of wish fulfillment" mainly refers to picking up coins in a dream. I believe that most people have had such a dream situation. The writer Liu Shahe put it into poetry, and it became "When I was a child, I dreamed that the sky was rising and the stars were filling the world."

I didn't put such a dream into poetry, but I began to believe my mother's statement when I was a child. She said that she had such a dream because the you in the previous life was burning incense and worshiping you.

Having said that, no matter what the dream is, I still agree with the view that dreams are a mental phenomenon that is part of sleep and the brain function is still active.

In the final analysis, dreams are just a short-lived picture. You think about it during the day and dream about it at night. That is one of the reasons for dream interpretation. The late Soviet novelist Katayev said that dreams are one-third of life. He also said that the dream was about butterflies flying around poppy flowers.
