Reduced punishment, fasting or vegetarianism?

In fact, the Diamond Sutra is the supreme wisdom method. The Buddha himself said, what is the reason? You know, Subhuti, there is no fixed method for real Buddhism.

You said you must worship Buddha, Tibetan tantra must eat meat, China must be a vegetarian, and you must do this or that. This is a fixed method, not a dharma; Those statements are only a temporary convenience of the education law, not an end. Therefore, the Buddha fully tells us here that it is wrong not to cling to one dharma, and that is to vilify the Buddha, because the Buddha has no fixed dharma.

This means that this form is not necessarily called Buddhism, but that form is also Buddhism Therefore, if you young people want to preach Buddhism, you can teach this truth to others without saying a word about Buddhism. This is Buddhism! Why did you add the word "Buddha"? That's just a coat! This coat can be taken off.

So we said from the beginning that true Buddhism transcends all religions, philosophies and all forms. In other words, the Buddha said that the real wisdom achievement is that there is no Prajna Paramita; Wisdom to the extreme. Without wisdom, that is true wisdom. This is also equal to what Lao Tzu said, no matter how smart people are, they are stupid; Wisdom is really to the extreme, that is, the most plain person. The most discerning people in the world are often the most ordinary. On the contrary, ordinary is great.

Students often ask, where is the wisdom of enlightenment? I said it's right there with you, "look out! This sentence is "Tao". Pay attention! This sentence is "Tao." Because what you mean is that you can't stay, you can stay until you mean it. Watch out! You just can't be small. If you are careful, you will understand. Don't see that all these things in the world are considered popular. They are all King Kong Prajna paramita. The most common sentence, you can understand, is that the sage is saying. Attention, who can keep the meaning? Be careful, who can keep his little heart? If he does this, he will get the word. Prajna paramita refers to non-Prajna paramita.

As we mentioned just now, the Buddha said that Prajna paramita means non-Prajna paramita, which is called Prajna paramita. We need to understand another meaning; Because the Buddha is talking about this great wisdom achievement, Prajna Paramita means that wisdom reaches the other shore, so some people who study Buddhism ask for wisdom every day. Prajna paramita, that is, without Prajna paramita's wisdom of becoming a Buddha, don't ask outside! It will not leave everything in the world. The worldly law is Buddhism, and any knowledge and anything is Buddhism. We must understand this in particular. Don't think that Prajna paramita has special wisdom and will jump out to enlightenment. Many people have this wrong idea. Buddha told you that Prajna paramita, that is, non-Prajna paramita, is called Prajna paramita. All the worldly knowledge, wisdom, thoughts and things in the world can enlighten you everywhere. Therefore, Zen enlightened people have a few famous sayings: "Green bamboo is the dharma body. The gloomy yellow flowers are nothing more than prajna. " Where is Prajna? It's everywhere. China's Zen is mainly based on the Diamond Sutra. Some people are enlightened by the Diamond Sutra, not by reading it. Many people are enlightened anytime and anywhere, and they say it after enlightenment.

In fact, what we are looking at now is the road, and the traffic in Ma Rulong is heavy. That is Prajna. You have seen it and understood it. The current consciousness, that is, bamboo, is a dharma body, which is neither born nor dead, and is everywhere. If the gloomy yellow flowers are described, leeks can also be opened, which is nothing more than prajna paramita. He said that you can realize the Tao by looking at flowers, and if you can also realize the Tao in the scenery, you can become a Buddha. These are all cases of Zen Buddhism.

In the Song Dynasty, there was a poet who was as famous as Su Dongpo. His name was Huang Valley, and he studied Zen under the master of Huitang. His knowledge is good, not to mention the Diamond Sutra, but he hasn't realized it for three years. One day, he asked Master Hui Tang if there was any convenient way to tell him something. Equal to our young people now! Everyone wants to ask the teacher for a secret, so that he can realize becoming a Buddha at once, and so does his aunt. Master Hui Tang said: Have you read The Analects of Confucius?

It doesn't matter if you ask us this sentence! It's an insult to ask Huang Goo Goo. Ancient scholars would recite the Analects of Confucius when they were young. Since Master asked Huang Gu what she could do, she had to say, Of course! Master said: There are two sentences in The Analects of Confucius: "Ersanzi, I have nothing to hide." "The second and third sons are all your students! Confucius said: Don't think I'm hiding something from you. I have no secrets! It's been sent to you.

Yellow valley blushed and turned green again. Tell master I really don't understand! The old monk left so soon. He was speechless and bored, so he had to follow the master. The Zen master walked without looking back at him, knowing that he would follow. Walking up the mountain, osmanthus blossoms in autumn and smells delicious. In this environment, Master turned to his aunt and asked, Do you smell sweet-scented osmanthus? The text says, "Do you smell the sweet-scented osmanthus? 」

The Yellow Valley was first smothered by Master's stick. Master swaggered ahead, ignoring him, and he followed, just like the smell of primary school students being punished by teachers, and he was bored again. This time the teacher asked him if he smelled osmanthus! Of course he turned his nose up. Smell it! Say, I smell it. His master went on to say, "Ersanzi, I have nothing to hide!" " "This just realized. The so-called prajnaparamita, that is, non-prajnaparamita, is called prajnaparamita. This is a famous case of Huang Gu's enlightenment.

Huanggu Huanglong died and woke up.

After enlightenment, it's amazing. He is a great official, studious, good at poetry and calligraphy, and proficient in everything, Taoism and Buddhism. He is the so-called first wonder. The first hope is arrogance. Except for Master, everyone in the world is a cinch. Later, when Zen master Hui Tang was in nirvana, he told his younger disciple Huang Long that he was determined to meet a new Zen master. He said, your lay brother Huang Gu has realized it, but he didn't fully realize it, only half of it. No one can do anything about him. Now that I'm gone, you can do something about him. You should teach him well. When Huanglong dies, inform Huang Gu immediately and let him come. Master is nirvana, and he is going to melt.

When the monk died, he was carried out and sat cross-legged in his seat. The disciple who got the right method took the torch and prepared to burn it. It is necessary to stand in front of him. At this time, Huang Gu arrived and saw this younger brother, a young monk. Although Huanglong is young, he knows that he is higher than the Yellow Valley, and he is also a successor monk who enforces the law like a mountain. As soon as the Yellow Valley arrived, Huanglong woke up and said to his brother with a torch, Let me ask you something. Now I'm going to light a fire. Master's body is going to melt. When my fire went out, Master melted. Where will you meet Master? Go ahead! Aunt can't answer, yes! This problem is very serious. Master has become a corpse and will die in the future. Where will the two meet?

Everyone present here can also talk about it! Someone must say that they will meet in the Western Heaven, but Huang Gu won't say that. Let's not talk about anything else. We are all sitting here now. You all go back and sleep at night. I also fell asleep at night. Where shall we meet? This is the problem.

Huanggu couldn't answer, not turning green, but turning black, and went back silently. Then something bad happened. Because of political disputes, the emperor demoted him to the rural area of Guizhou Tobacco and Alcohol Sales Bureau, and he became a small clerk. How can ordinary people stand him falling from such a high position?

Just now I said it's unlucky to win by doing nothing. He happens to be a monk. On the way to Guilin, two messengers were escorted to report for duty. They are afraid that he will be transferred to a senior official in the future, and it is not too difficult for him. So he meditated all the way. One day, it was very hot at noon. He discussed with two escorts and wanted to take a nap. The pillows used by the ancients to sleep were made of wood. He lay down and accidentally fell to the ground. He was shocked and really enlightened. He didn't want to sleep either, so he immediately wrote a letter asking people to send it to Lushan Mountain as soon as possible to give Huanglong a new Zen master. He said, it is normal! My article, my way, no one in the world does not praise me, only you, the old monk-now call him little brother, very polite! Only you, an old monk, won't promise me. I'm grateful to think about it now.

So! Prajna paramita refers to non-Prajna paramita. Really, on the other hand, we explain from the truth that all worldly laws are Buddhism; Learn Buddhism, don't be trapped by Buddhism, so that you can learn Buddhism. If your mind is full of Buddhist words, then you are finished, and that is Prajna Paramita. Solve this important problem first, and you will understand it later.
