How can we plant medicinal seedlings well?

Hello! I am Da Peng, a farmer in Gansu, and I want to talk about my views on this issue.

As long as I can remember, Chinese herbal medicine Angelica sinensis has been planted at home. As far as I can remember, I didn't know the scientific name of Angelica when I was a child. Every spring ploughing season, the villagers in my hometown plant wheat, soybeans and potatoes in the fields. These are basically self-grown and self-sufficient crops, which can be sold very little. When these grains were planted, the hometown people began to sow the seeds of angelica sinensis, which is the so-called seedling raising of angelica sinensis.

In my hometown, Angelica sinensis seedlings are called "Miao medicine species", which is a very difficult physical activity. Because Angelica sinensis is a low-temperature growth crop with a special growth environment (altitude 1500m-3000m), it is necessary to raise seedlings in a cold environment with humus soil, so hometown people usually choose the seedling raising place in a small shrub forest or a semi-forest and semi-meadow zone on the shady slope of high mountains.

Seedling raising steps:

1. Digging: The land has been selected, but it will be a lot of trouble to drive. First, tall plants must be cut down to dig their roots, and then other easier plants must be dug up. After digging this land again, dig it again until the land is completely soft, sprinkle a little base fertilizer and level it with a rake. (Because there was no relevant local management policy for Angelica sinensis seedlings in previous years, many woodlands were destroyed in a large area. )

2, sowing: Next, sowing angelica seeds, sowing angelica seeds is easy, effortless but it is a technical job. People who haven't planted angelica seeds tend to scatter into a pile, and the seedlings will grow together after emergence, which is very unfavorable for the growth of seedling roots. Therefore, people who sow angelica seeds are generally experienced (the seeds sown after landing are evenly spaced)

3. Trenching: Gouge ditches with hoes at a certain distance, make drainage ditches, and collect seedling bases.

4. Shading: evenly spread the straw treated with wheat or oat on the prepared seedling substrate to prevent the medicinal seeds from dying in the sun.

The above is the seedling cultivation of Angelica sinensis in my hometown, I hope I can help you.
