Mexico travel guide

The scenic spots in Mexico are really good. Today, Bian Xiao will talk to you about some Mexican tourism strategies. You can look at these strategies when you go. Now Bian Xiao will go and have a look with you. I definitely need it when I travel.

The climate environment in Mexico is still relatively complex, including tropical oceans and plateau deserts, and influenced by factors such as topography, trade winds and latitude of ocean currents, the weather and temperature can be said to be somewhat unpredictable. I use one word to evaluate it, that is, chaos, so it is nothing to make a fuss about seeing locals wearing down jackets, Europeans and Americans with short sleeves and shorts, and Asians in between in the street at the same time.

But on the whole, we have been to the Spring Festival, and the temperature is quite suitable. Basically, summer clothes can be the mainstay, and a coat can be prepared to cope with the cooling and strong winds in the morning and evening. As for the photo matching effect that female students care about, it is a good idea for your reference.

The blue saturation of the Caribbean Sea is very high, and the white of the waves is obvious. You can choose bright colors with strong contrast such as orange and red.

The overall color of Mayan ruins is gloomy, which can be neutralized with warm colors, but I don't want to have too much contrast, so I chose a dark red dress with a little ethnic design;

The color of the pink lake itself is bright enough, but the plain skirt will be more harmonious;

Overlooking the colorful town, under the colorful background, the light-colored plain long skirt is more outstanding. If the skirt is bigger, it is more suitable for concave modeling.

Entering a colorful town, the large color blocks of national style will not make people drown in the red walls and green tiles;

If you swim in an underground well, the background is dark green. At this time, a bright swimsuit can balance the picture.

I am a big fan of Chinese food, and I firmly believe that Chinese food is the best cooking in the world. I caught up with the Spring Festival outside again. Although I am far away from my hometown in Wan Li, I still want to enjoy the New Year's Eve dinner with my family. So, as before, I brought some China spices and prepared such a sumptuous meal myself.

But I'm not picky about food. I really don't choose. I said I wouldn't eat anything, and then I couldn't swallow this or that, hahaha. Therefore, I have been to more than 30 countries. I really don't want to eat local food except in Mauritius. I won't miss the specialties of other places. The following focuses on the most recommended. The specific store name and address will be introduced in detail later.

1.tulumlocales and Yelp recommend popular Taco stores with double explosions;

2. Taco civilian shops lined up forever next to the Constitution Square in Mexico City, supported by 6 yuan RMB;

3. European-style time-honored restaurant, Taco's fancy eating method;

4. The best brunch in San Miguel, don't rush to get angry when you close on Tuesday;

5. If you can only eat one kind of food in Yucatan Peninsula, choose pickled fish with lime juice! Shrimp! ;

6. Hotels in Ithaca Maya, Chen Chi, which are favored by celebrities and politicians, not only have a good environment, but also have good food in the restaurant. "Flower Pork" (the name I gave up because the cooking method is similar) can be tried.

7. The most common stall on the streets of colored towns tastes like edamame;

8. Occasionally, the town fair, this booth has the most queues;

9. It's delicious to eat with local fruits! ! ! But I won't tell you haha ~ I'm going to open a shop and make a fortune from it!

The trip to Mexico was decided only one week before departure. Originally, the plane tickets were all bought, and Meixi drove for half a month, but before we left, we met Jojo in Shanghai (that's right, Jojo is your best travel storyteller, and I guess you all read his Travel Notes on the First Day of the Day of the Dead some time ago). We started talking about Mexico when we got on the subway. Before I got off the subway, I had silently returned the car rental order in the United States. I think Jojo is brave, too. Take his advice and change the itinerary temporarily. Aren't you afraid of being complained if it's not fun? Ha ha. But he firmly said, "You will like Mexico". It turns out that he is really a Jo god, haha ~

However, such a tight preparation period has added a lot of difficulty to booking tickets. Every time you open a hotel page in a city, it always prompts "70% of the houses have been booked on the date you choose".

Fortunately, "housing experts" did not come for nothing. Seven cities and seven houses, from the sunrise apartment in the Caribbean to the scenic hotel in the Mayan ruins, and then to the mid-level villa in the colorful town, finally lived up to its mission!

Here, I recommend the two closest to perfection to my friends, and introduce the rest one by one.

1. Guanajuato Panorama Villa-Mirrado House 1. Panoramic villa in Guanajuato.

It is only two minutes away from the observation deck at the top of Qicai Town, and the single-family villa halfway up the mountain is really panoramic. In addition to the balcony with a 270-degree view, every window is a landscape in the living room, bedroom and kitchen!

Everyone thought it was expensive when it was sent to a circle of friends, but in fact, the whole villa for six people was only over 800 yuan. You know, there are only one or two hundred beds in the youth hostel in the city. Such a high cost performance, remember to start early ~

2. Best Western Dahua Hotel, the most beautiful hotel in Constitution Square.

For Mexico, Constitution Square is equivalent to Tiananmen Square in China, and most of the scenic spots in Mexico City are also around this center. So when choosing a hotel, I only locked in the only hotel overlooking Constitution Square-Grand.

Mexico City Hotel and Best Western Hotel.

The majestic Best Western Dahua Hotel, however, the former can only see the square from the top floor. In fact, it is the only one that can really meet the demand of pushing the window to see the square.

The star level of the hotel is not high, and the four stars here are at best the three-star level in China, so the requirements for rooms should not be too high, just spacious and clean. After all, our attention has been drawn to the outside. As for the noise problem that everyone is worried about, it is really noisy in the square during the day, but the sleep period from 9 pm to 8 am is actually very quiet. And the house price is surprisingly affordable, as long as four or five hundred yuan a night.

Another reminder, not all rooms face the square. You can check the room type when you make a reservation. The highest and most correct room is our room 607 and the one next door (it should be 608).

If you really don't want to live here or don't have a reservation, the restaurant on the top floor is open to the public and you can also see the scenery. The angle is similar to our room, but it is slightly blocked by the dado.

Most of the online travel notes and guides will tell you that the bus is the most common and convenient mode of transportation in Mexico. Personally, I have reservations about this.

The bus really took a ride for a while. Indeed, as the internet said, the comfort and punctuality are good. As a transition between neighboring cities, it is indeed a good choice. However, if you use it all the time, it is not the most efficient. It is better to adapt to local conditions.

In Yucatan Peninsula, self-driving is definitely the best choice. Because the Mayan monuments in Chenchiiza, the Pink Lake in tulum and the underground dissolving well are all more than 0/00 kilometers away from Cancun/KLOC. Taxis are too expensive, the group has to go back again and again, and the bus has to reverse, so it takes a lot of time to go back and forth to the bus stop. Therefore, the flexibility and cost performance of self-driving are very high.

From this self-driving road map, it can be clearly seen that all the scenic spots can be smoothly connected in series, except for the inevitable detour 100 km to Fenhu, and you can also arrange the most suitable time to visit according to the light and temperature.

As for the section across Mexico from east to west, unless you want to visit the central part by the way, you can consider taking the overnight bus, otherwise you must go by plane. But as for where to fly, there is a little knowledge. Most people will fly to Mexico City, but in that case, isn't it a turn-back to visit the colorful towns around Guanajuato and San Miguel? The most reasonable route should be direct flight to Guanajuato, and then all the way back to San Miguel de Allende and Mexico City. Not only do you not go back, but the air ticket is also very cheap, just over 300 yuan, including the free baggage allowance. (It is estimated that many people haven't done their homework and don't know that Guanajuato's airport is actually in Leon. )

As for short-distance transportation, it is nothing more than taxis or buses. The details are left below. Here, I will focus on reminding a few questions-

◆ Taxis are more reliable, rarely encounter detours or unreasonable asking prices, and the price is not high, so you can basically take a taxi with confidence;

Uber can be used in many places such as Mexico City and Guanajuato. The price is very affordable, especially from Guanajuato Airport to downtown. Uber only needs about 180 pesos, while the taxi monopolized by the airport costs 500 pesos, which is three times worse. But I have never enjoyed these discounts myself, because after using them several times in the United States, my account was inexplicably locked. It seems that many people on the Internet have had similar experiences. There is no overdue payment and no abnormal use. I can't use them for no reason There is no customer service phone number, so you can only send an email to complain. Who has time for this during the trip? ! Anyway, I'm so angry, no wonder I can't get along at home! Hum!

From Guanajuato to San Miguel de Allende, you can consider taking a chartered bus, as long as it costs about 800 pesos. If there are many people, it is not much more expensive than the bus, but it saves you the pain of going back and forth to the long-distance station with big bags and small bags, and also saves some time on the road.

I was worried about the language problem before the language went, because the internet generally clamored that the local English penetration rate was poor, but the actual situation was not that bad. In particular, most tourists will not go deep into remote areas, and there are still great opportunities for tourist cities to communicate in English. For example, all hotels and homestays, airports and bus stops, tourist centers, ticket offices of scenic spots, car rental companies and relatively high-end restaurants that we come into contact with, the staff can communicate without barriers. Is English as good as ours?

Of course, if you go deep into the market, English is really useless, especially in the following places, to remind everyone to be mentally prepared.

Taxis, small supermarkets, convenience stores, food markets, street shops, roadside stalls.

But in fact, this is understandable, just as it is difficult for foreigners to speak English when they go to domestic markets and food markets. Calm down, don't think this means that people are closed and backward. And now that black technology is so powerful, it is getting easier and easier to overcome language barriers. Just like we brought an intelligent translator from sogou this time, with the magical function of voice translation, we still talked with taxi drivers, bought special fruits in the market, and bargained with the big sister who sold shoes in a small shop (though it failed).

Price Mexico's overall consumption level is not high, but because it is also a popular tourist country, the price difference is also obvious. Let me distinguish between tourist consumer goods and general consumer goods. The former is basically the same as the first-tier cities in China. For example, the hotel costs 500 to 1500 RMB per night (except for high-end hotels on the Caribbean coast, usually 3000), and the restaurant costs 50 to 100 RMB per person; The latter situation is basically the same as that of second-and third-tier cities in China. For example, a bottle of coke in the supermarket is two or three yuan, and a snack is more than ten yuan.

This time, the two of us spent about 15000 RMB per day in Mexico 12, and with the round-trip air ticket 12000, the total cost was less than 28000.

In addition to food, clothing, housing and transportation, there are actually many noteworthy tips for traveling in Mexico. Remind at the end of the article. Now it's time to start our seven-city storm!
