Steps of sketching still life

Take the following picture as an example to tell you the steps of sketching a still life:

First, molding

1. Positioning: Determine the size, height and proportion of the object.

2. Three lines: (contour line, boundary line and projection line) Pay attention to the change of projection shape and light and dark lines.

Second, spread color.

1, distinguish between light and shade (use a pen to weigh it, put it in place once, and arrange the cable evenly and neatly).

2. Divide the inherent color, clearly distinguish the brightness of each object, the color block relationship of the black, white and gray environment of the object, accurately mark the boundary line of the object and the projection front end of the object, spread the color of the dark part as a whole, subjectively strengthen the color block of the dark part of the visual center, and strengthen the contrast between light and shade of the object, paying attention to the former strong and then weak, the upper strong and the lower weak, and the main strong and the second weak.

Third, rub

1, giving priority to the main object, heavy color object, projection front end, dark part, attention degree and the outline of the receiving object.

2. Wipe the bright surface of white objects with a hard eraser, highlight the objects with heavy colors, and reflect light with a soft eraser. Rubbing must pay attention to the edge contour of the object and match it with color blocks.

Fourth, shape

Give priority to the light and dark boundary line, projection and edge line of the object, and deal with the gray color block of the object to connect with the boundary line. Handle the sense of volume (three aspects) and the light sense of the whole picture.
