Shuilu 'an is located in Puhua Town, east of Lantian County 10 km. It belongs to the national key cultural relics protection unit. Shuilu 'an is the largest group of wall sculptures preserved in China at present, and it is known as "the world's first three-dimensional series of color wall sculptures".

The amphibious temple was built during the reign of Emperor Wen of Sui Dynasty. It was originally an amphibious temple built in Wuzhen Temple, a Buddhist temple, and was expanded to accommodate thousands of monks in the Tang Dynasty.

Surrounded by green mountains and green waters, it has always been a tourist attraction in Guanzhong area. Shuilu Temple is an ancient temple in the Six Dynasties. It was built at the same time as Xiawuzhen Temple in the second year of Zhenguan as an amphibious Dojo. In the Tang Dynasty, it formed a group of Buddhist temples with Shangwuzhen Temple and Xiawuzhen Temple.

Coming here is like entering an all-encompassing Buddhist world. The life story of Sakyamuni is carved on the north and south gable, and the sculptures of Laozi, Confucius and Sakyamuni on the east wall fully embody the unity and mutual tolerance of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism.

The colorful clay sculptures in the main hall of Shuilu 'an attract attention, among which the clay sculptures on the north and south walls are the most wonderful. In the form of cartoons, the life story of Buddha Sakyamuni is explained, which is very vivid and realistic.

Clay sculptures include landscape bridges, garden waterfalls, pavilions, buddhas and bodhisattvas, 24 days, 500 arhats crossing the sea, thousands of people listening to scriptures, nirvana statues of Sakyamuni, birds and animals, and Kirin.
