What are the seven major religions?

Christianity, the largest religion in the world, is divided into Orthodox Church (split from Catholicism in 154), Catholicism (Roman Catholic Church), Protestantism (formed after the religious reform initiated by Luther and others in the 16th century), belief in God, Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary. Mainly popular in Europe, America and parts of Africa.

Islam, the second largest religion, consists of Shiites, Sunnis and other factions, and believes in the only one of God. But not everyone believes in prophets, and Wahhabis emphasize that there is no other belief except God. Mainly popular in West Asia, North Africa, East Africa and South Asia subcontinent.

Buddhism, the third largest religion, also includes Zen Buddhism, Mahayana Buddhism, Hinayana Buddhism and Tibetan Buddhism. Think that everything is empty, and the cycle of life. Mainly popular in Southeast Asia and other places, but rarely in India.

Hinduism, the fourth largest religion, is different from the above, and it is a regional religion. Its predecessor is Brahmanism, which is mainly popular in India.

There are many other three sayings, namely Judaism (believing in Jehovah, the predecessor of Christianity), Shintoism (believing in animism as a Japanese religion), Sikhism (believing in Guruyanak), Zoroastrianism (from which the concept of Christian Satan comes) and Confucianism (some people think that it is not a religion, and the biggest difference from other religions is that they believe that the Prophet Confucius has no super powers).
