Family Diary 2

As the saying goes, a nest of gold and silver is not as good as one's own kennel. That's true. My daughter and son, in particular, are attached to their own homes and are unwilling to leave home, let alone sleep in other homes unless there are special circumstances.

On Friday night, our family of three are going to play in the community for a while. When we went out, we forgot our keys and locked them at home. Homeless at night, so sad. My son cried as soon as he heard that he could not go home.

Fortunately, the child's aunt lives in a community with us and can spend the night at her house.

Lying in the bed of my aunt's house, my son and daughter kept nagging; I’m going home. I want to lie in my own bed. I can't sleep here.

I comforted them: when an accident happens, don't just think about the worst. Although we can't go home, the three of us have a warm cabin, lying on a clean and comfortable big bed, and someone takes care of us to eat and live, so we don't have to sleep on the street.

Hearing this, the children stopped talking and fell asleep quietly.

Life is not always smooth sailing. When an accident happens, we don't have to be sad or complain. We face the disappointment in life with a positive attitude and greet every accident and every difficulty with a smile, so there is no obstacle to cross.

The next morning, grandma sent someone to bring the key, and we can go home again.

When he took his son home, he asked, "Mom, did you break the door?"

"No." I said, "We have grandma's keys."

"In the future, help your mother remember to bring the key before going out."

I told my daughter that in the future, when you are alone, you must prepare two keys, one to carry with you and the other to a safe and hidden place for emergencies.

Accidents are not necessarily bad things, we just learn a better life from accidents again and again.
