Basic introduction to Li Qingzhao Memorial Hall

Li Qingzhao Memorial Hall is a famous tourist attraction in Jinan, the former residence of celebrities.

Li Qingzhao, a female poet in the Song Dynasty, is known as the queen of the country of Ci. Since the Ming Dynasty, four memorial halls to Li Qingzhao and many lotus root shrines have appeared in China. However, by far, the largest and most high-quality one should be the Qingzhao Garden located on the bank of Baimai Spring in Mingshui Town, Zhangqiu City, Shandong Province, the poet's hometown.

The garden was designed by Mr. Zhou Peizheng, a nationally renowned garden design expert. The total area is 18,000 square meters, with a total construction area of ??1,300 square meters, including 15 groups of buildings, including Yinfeng Pavilion, Wenzhai, Shuyu Hall, Begonia Pavilion, Yanxi Ningxiang, Stele Gallery, and Yi'an Building. The Qingzhao Garden in Zhangqiu absorbs the essence of Suzhou gardens and displays the distinctive architectural style of the Song Dynasty everywhere. Since its completion and opening to the outside world in May 1997, it has been called by many tourists as a shining pearl imitating Song Dynasty Jiangnan residential architecture embedded in northern China. At the same time, it is also an important base for Li Qingzhao's academic research.

So far, Qingzhao Garden is the largest among the four existing Li Qingzhao memorial halls (halls) in the country (Jinan, Qingzhou, Jinhua, Zhangqiu)
