In "Ksitigarbha Sutra", "Benefit of Survival and Death" No. 7, it is said that good teachers will bear the burden for me. If I have any doubts, I sincerely seek advice!

The only way for Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to save sentient beings is to spread the Dharma and make sentient beings realize themselves, thereby liberating themselves from the troubles of life and death. The same is true for substitution and reduction of burdens or fullness and burdens mentioned in the Ksitigarbha Sutra. Samantabhadra Bodhisattva vows in "Samantabhadra's Practical Vows" that "if all sentient beings experience severe suffering due to their accumulation of bad karma, I will accept it on their behalf so that all sentient beings can be liberated." Samantabhadra Bodhisattva did not come to take my place. It can be seen that this substitution does not refer to direct substitution that violates cause and effect, but the Bodhisattva's vow to save all sentient beings. Just like a mother's willingness to take the place of her son's illness, it is impossible to truly replace him. This is a wish of great mercy.

Causal retribution is not satisfactory at all, it is your own fault. Buddhas and Bodhisattvas cannot suffer for others. Otherwise there would be no suffering in this world.
