I am a boring person. I don't usually like talking to strangers. Then I don't take the bus if I can walk when I go out, and I don't take a taxi if I can take the bus. Therefore, I seldom have a chance to take a taxi.

So what is left for the taxi to talk to the driver? This mainly depends on whether the driver is interested in chatting. If he is a talkative person, I can put down my cell phone and talk to him for a while. If he is also a boring person, what is there to say? Just be bored.

For a talking driver, it depends on what he says. If he makes some comments on current events or something, and I happen to know a little, I can cut off the other party temporarily. For example, the price of this house is really too high now, and it is all a bubble. People live in dire straits. Tell me about the international form, which country is fighting again, and what are the secrets of South Korea and North Korea. Although I am not very interested in these things, I don't mind listening to them. Some drivers also like to talk about their own affairs, what kind of passengers they meet and what kind of traffic accidents they see. Wow, they are full of words. Because these are all things around us, just listen to them.

Generally speaking, I am a listener. After all, I have little knowledge, unlike drivers who can see so many people and things every day. If I am in a good mood, I will occasionally take the initiative to chat with the driver to ease the embarrassing atmosphere. Then I usually don't take a taxi for too long, half an hour or an hour, and time passes quickly.
