How to turn on and off the computer

We have shared many tips on computer use before. A friend asked backstage that if the computer is turned on and off by command, today Li Ge will tell you more about this problem.

Close regularly:

Many friends may not know about the function of turning off the computer regularly.

Of course, it is not clear how to set it.

Take Win7 as an example, press Win(Windows icon) +R key to start running.

If you want to set a scheduled shutdown time, you can enter it like this.

Format: When xx:xx is turned off-S.

Four of these x's are specific times.

If you want to shut down at 22:50 pm, enter "Shut down at 22:50 -s" in the run box, and then click OK.

Be careful not to miss the space in the middle.

So it is set to close at 22:50.

The above is the first method.

There is also a countdown shutdown method.

The method is to enter: shutdown -s -t xx in the run box.

The x at the back means you can call as many seconds as you want, and turn it off.

For example, it takes 3600 seconds to shut down after one hour.

After the shutdown setting, the system will prompt you for the shutdown time some time before the shutdown ~

If you regret and want to cancel the planned shutdown,

Similarly, open the running interface and enter the command: shutdown -a? Then click OK to cancel.

I remember the previous computer practice exam. As soon as the computer was turned on, the teacher set the automatic shutdown for 30 seconds. If the first fault is not eliminated, the whole exam will be 0.

So remember the two most commonly used commands: shutdown -s -t xx? And shutdown -a (don't forget the space in the middle! )

Of course, you can also enter these commands in the run bar to bring up the following command interface and enter them here.

Let's teach you an ordinary boot.

Many people don't understand why there is a regular boot. In fact, there is a wake-up event setting in the Windows operating system, which needs to be set in the BIOS.

The specific steps are as follows:

First, enter the BIOS. Common buttons for entering the BIOS are: F 1, F2, F 1 1, F 12, Del, etc. You can also look at the prompt button when starting the machine, as shown below.

Take the following BIOS as an example. After entering the BIOS, find "Power Management Settings".

Then select wake-up event settings?

Press Enter to come here, as shown in the figure below, and set the disable on the right side of the RTC alarm to.

Enabled means enabled.

Then you can see the time and frequency of setting startup below. Set according to your own needs. After setting, save F 10 and exit. ? Installation completed

If you want to cancel the automatic boot, just set the disabled item modified above as enabled and set it back to disabled in the same way.

More motherboard setting methods

Different motherboards have different settings, but they are all the same.

Some motherboards can set the interface language to Chinese, which is simpler:

Open Advanced Settings-Power Management Settings/Wake-up Event Settings-Set Time-Save and Exit.

Other BIOS setup interfaces:

Lenovo Chinese BIOS

Dell notebook computer
