First of all, in terms of attitude, two words are needed: "positive". When you become a student officer in your freshman year, you must learn to treat things positively, not only in the affairs of your own department, but also in the affairs of the entire student union, and you must express yourself positively. For example, when superiors call for volunteers, they are actually waiting to see if those people are motivated and enthusiastic. Only by expressing yourself in front of your superiors can you be remembered by your seniors. In the next election, you often rely on this relationship. Speeches and work plans are just a formality.

Second, leadership and organizational skills are indispensable. Maybe this is not reflected when you are a student officer. After becoming a minister, you can deliberately exercise and cultivate your leadership and organizational skills. For example, when the teacher or chairman is holding a meeting for everyone, they should talk more about their ideas and help maintain order and organize activities at various activities. This is very training. Because when you become the president of the student union, everything from teachers and secretaries to ministers and academic cadres needs your coordination. It is not a dream for one person to support the entire student union.

Third, it is important to learn speaking skills. When you become the president of the student union, you are no longer a person who needs to do everything yourself. You are mainly a leader, arranging and coordinating affairs. What is most important when uploading and declaring things? That's talking. How to say to teachers, how to say to ministers, and how to say to student leaders all require a lot of learning. And it's very important not to talk too much.
