Let's talk about chain length first. At first, the chain must not be too long. We just started practicing, and the chains used are all standard 12 cm. Why? Because if you use a long chain at first, the body can't open at all, which means you can't practice the overall flexibility. For example, if you practice changing sticks under your arms and behind your back, the long chain is easy to do, but not the short one, which means that your shoulders and arms are not open at all, and the long chain can't find this.

If you have passed the introductory stage and want to practice your skills and practice actual combat with a stick, I recommend one for you. Chain 14- 15cm, stick 25-26cm. Too long chain is not conducive to explosion, and too short chain will reduce the killing range. The length of the stick should fit the length of your arm. Too long and too short is not good for the control lever. I don't know the wingspan of my students, but it is generally around 1.7 meters, which is the most suitable for students, easier to control, and easier to exert strength and dance.
