Twenty-eight volumes of "The Genealogy of the Zhang Family in Hengfeng" during the Republic of China, revised by Zhang Zongduo and others, printed by Duqintang in the fourth year of the Republic of China (1915) This, original edition of twenty-eight volumes. The Hengfeng Zhang family was one of the prominent families in Tongcheng during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Their original surname was Hu. During the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, Hu Changyi moved from Raozhou to Hengfeng, Tongxi in the second year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1369). Under the Zhang family, the surname was changed to Zhang. This genealogy lists Chang Yi Gong as the first generation ancestor. Chang Yi's original name is Tai, with the courtesy name Chang Yi and the nickname Xiaopu. When tracing its origins, the surname Hu is still used as the basis to record the deeds of its ancestors. In the second year of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty (1724), Lixuan, the tenth grandson of Chang Yi Gong, compiled the genealogy for the first time. In this genealogy, the eight descendants of Chang Yi from the fifth generation are divided into eight major houses, and each house is divided into several branches. Later, it was rebuilt five times and was sealed during the Republic of China. This genealogy is intended to contact the descendants of Chang Yi Gong who changed the surname Hu to Zhang and moved to various places, hence the name "Hengfeng Zhang Family Genealogy".
