To be able to run, it turns out that you still need someone to walk with you! It’s really difficult to move forward alone. Otherwise, the Bible says that two people are better than one. If one falls, the other will pick him up. Well, now that my sisters are with me, I have motivation, and with a team, I have more hope. Let me talk about my little experience before running
At first, I simply saw that donating steps on WeChat can give love. Because of my dedication of love, I gained motivation and was able to walk from get off work in the morning and evening. Definitely over 10,000 in one day. You can gain health and give a little love at the same time, so why not do it. I enjoy walking every day. But when I see the running friends in my circle of friends taking so many steps, I feel envious. At the same time, I was thinking that it would be great if they could all donate. Haha, I’m addicted to donating. Comparing my step count with my friends is still very subtle. If I can run more steps, my little dream will come true. But running is really tiring, and I can’t run. I feel like I don’t have the talent for running. Because when I walk in the morning, I sometimes start jogging as soon as I have time. After running for a while, I am out of breath. How to run a marathon! It seems there is no chance. The dream was just put on hold.
? Suddenly one day in February someone in the group wanted to set up a running training camp, wow! ! ! It was perfect for me who wanted to run, so I joined without thinking. I can meet the requirement of 10 kilometers per week, not 5 kilometers a day all at once. I can accept it very much. With a little exercise, I can do it. Moreover, the group is motivated and encourages each other. I think it will be easy to stick to it.
? At first I ran two kilometers, two kilometers, plus walking and exercise training, then three kilometers, then four kilometers, and one day I finally ran 5 kilometers. But I was really tired and ran very slowly. There was also some walking in the middle. If there was no training camp, I would not run every day, it would be too tiring. But I think I’m only 5 kilometers away. It's okay to exercise and exercise. I was quite happy after I finished running 5 kilometers. It was a small challenge for me and I succeeded. I didn’t even think about the marathon at this point. Thank God but things are always changing. I obviously know that God knows my little wish. My friends were participating in mountain climbing together and talked about a marathon, but they didn't do it. Each of them failed to run for various reasons. But after talking about it, everyone said they wanted to participate in cross-country running. I was very happy when I heard it, but my physical fitness was not good. At the same time, I have no foundation in sports. How could I run cross-country when I had never run a half marathon? But my sister said you can do it, you can absolutely do it, start training from now on, it will be absolutely no problem, come with us. Hearing such encouragement from my sister, my heart is ready to move! can i? I have never run or exercised. My sister said there are still two months from now, so you should exercise. Let's do it together. I was so excited that I said yes, let’s sign up and run together. With everyone together, I have motivation and companionship. It was such a happy decision. Ha ha. I've said it, but I haven't made a plan yet on how to exercise, so I just talked it over with my sisters. How come I don’t have any fear or fear at all, and I don’t have any doubts about how to conquer these 30 kilometers? Everything is unknown.
? After a while, the group owner of the training camp added us to the cross-country group. That’s how I got into running. It's incredible. The cross-country group is all professionals who have been running for a long time, but I am a rookie to them! The leader of the cross-country group asked the newcomer what his running experience and physical condition were. I said, can I run if I have no running experience? The group leader gave me very encouraging words and affirmations. He said yes, you have to believe in yourself. I just signed up for cross country without running at the beginning. However, I did 5 kilometers every day for two months before the competition and climbed mountains once a week. In this way, I finished the cross-country run. Come on! Well, I have to train hard next.

? In our own small group running training camp, everyone is running every day. Although the number of kilometers is small and it is only 21 days, we have gained self-discipline and mutual encouragement in these 21 days. At the same time, at the end of the 21st, the group owner organized a 10-kilometer run. I have only run 5 kilometers a few times and have never run 10 kilometers. It is a challenge for me! But I think I can. I have to run, because there are still 30 kilometers waiting for me. The weekend is finally here, let’s run together. I ran slowly, because the others were running very fast, so I chased them slowly. First, set the 10-kilometer distance. After each kilometer, the phone will give a voice prompt: You have run one kilometer. How many minutes and seconds does it take to reach nine kilometers? Just listen to the announcement on the phone one kilometer after another, and finally you have passed. 5 kilometers, I am so happy! Then it was six kilometers, um, seven kilometers. It was great. I had exceeded my highest mileage. I raised my hands and was happy while running. Although I am alone on the road, and although the other friends have run out of sight, I am very happy. For me, 5 kilometers was already the limit. Now I still insist on running for 7 kilometers. Come on, there are still three kilometers to go. I got the audio report during the eight-kilometer run, so happy. With two kilometers to go, I won. Although I took a few steps in the middle, I really persevered. Look at the phone again, wow! ! Wow, I looked at the phone and it was already 8.89. It’s almost nine kilometers away. It’s so exciting. Let’s continue. I can do it. I finally heard the 10-kilometer announcement on my phone. I did it, and I still didn't stop. I continued walking, jumping, and dancing. Although it's just me. But I finished running 10 kilometers, so happy. Next, I have to challenge longer mileage to participate in cross-country. God, please protect my physical condition!
? On the 10-kilometer day, my overall body was fine, but my feet were a little tired and I also felt that my toes were being squeezed. The next day there was overall no pain as before. I think if I continue running, my body will get used to it, but it is important to warm up before running and stretch after running. These two steps are very important, otherwise the legs will become like elephant legs.
After 2 days of physical recovery, I started running again, this time 5 kilometers, to see what changes there were in this 5 kilometers. As I ran, I found that my legs were stronger than before, my speed was better than before, and I also felt less out of breath than before. There really are changes. As long as I persist, I will definitely improve. It's not that I don't have the ability to run long distances, but I need exercise and persistence. And it didn’t stop for two kilometers, then slowly it didn’t stop for three kilometers, and it didn’t stop for four or five kilometers! I'm so great. I raised my hands and gave myself a round of applause. Haha. Thank you God so much. As the group leader said: "Difficulties are paper tigers." Yes, I pushed down the difficulties.
