Specifically, if a foreign trader wants to do it himself, he needs to know the most important aspects and the experience, knowledge and ability he should have.

1, you should have a certain understanding of the product industry you are engaged in, especially the professional knowledge of products, product quotations and so on.

2. Be able to write a fluent business email and dare to call customers when necessary. Now there are many ways to contact customers in foreign trade, but email is the core.

3, language skills, at least English, otherwise communication is more troublesome and inefficient.

4. Have a certain understanding of the target customer market.

5. How to solve the problem of your customer source and product supply chain?

6. Your company's foreign exchange collection and registered operation.

7. If it is not a team operation at first, then your own personal foreign trade, the above six aspects also need to be considered.

Finally, if you are a small white, the probability of success is extremely low, and the time, energy and money you spend are a great waste. To put it bluntly, it is a waste of sunk cost and opportunity cost. Therefore, I suggest you go to the workplace to accumulate the most basic foreign trade experience and ability, foreign trade workflow, writing email quotations and other basic knowledge.
