The "Moon Lamp Sutra" says, "Even if it is just in the direction of Mount Wutai Walking seven steps also has great merit." As the monastery of Manjushri Bodhisattva, Wutai Mountain is also a sacred place for many people, especially Buddhist disciples.

Although I am from Shanxi, I have never been to Mount Wutai, and I have never studied Buddhism. I did not do any strategy this time. It can be said that I just started from scratch...

But , this time I was happily able to follow the master, senior brother and sister, listen to the allusions in each temple, look closely at the different forms of each Buddha statue, and observe the devout worship of each believer. I was very happy.

It is said that everyone who has been to Wutai Mountain will look forward to the next time. Yes, I have already started to look forward to it. Then record the little things this time and do some homework for you who haven’t gone yet and for me who want to go again next time!

The magnificent Wind Chime Palace can be described as an architectural work of art. The performance of "Meet Wutai Mountain Again" is even more shocking!

The lights on the entrance road are dim, and the words "pure", "purify the heart", "purify the hands" and "purify the feet" are projected on the drooping curtains. The monks passing by sitting cross-legged or standing with their hands folded make people feel awe. , one wall narrates life from the age of zero (I was born), and the other wall narrates life from the age of zero (I was reborn). Walking between the two walls and sitting down is like walking through your own life.

The most impressive thing is a chanting: Sakyamuni Buddha’s appraisal of the true Dharma, that is, anyone who calls Buddhism or what he says must have three Dharma seals. If they are present, it means it is the true Dharma. , if it goes against the grain, it is not Dharma. The Four Dharma Seals of Buddhism are the four Dharma doors of Buddhism. The first three are causes and the fourth are effects. By cultivating the first three Dharma Seals, you can reach the realm of the fourth Dharma Seal, namely:

One Dharma Seal: All things are impermanent---all things are impermanent.

Two Dharma Seals: All outflows are suffering - all emotions are suffering.

Three Dharma Seals: All dharmas have no self - all things have no self-nature.

The Four Seals: Nirvana and Silence—Everything will eventually reach Nirvana.

In this drama, people who don’t understand Buddhist scriptures may not remember which scriptures everyone recited together, but they will definitely remember Cao Huifen, a pancake stall owner who runs a pancake stall for four o’clock in life, but also Being envied by others, the story of a young man and his mother instantly makes one understand the impermanence of a child who wants to support but refuses to be loved... Yes, their story is our story! At some point you think, maybe, there’s something I could have done to make my story different.

While clasping hands together and reciting Buddhist scriptures, the silk with scriptures and Buddha images printed on it floats over the head. The moment the fingertips of both hands touch it, there is surprise in the eyes and a smile on the face. My heart is also full of expectations...

Finally, the sound of wind chimes before leaving will make you calm for a long time in this moment, here, and here. You can also see it on the faces of every monk who rings the wind chimes. Peace and blessings.

"Thank you, Master, then I will leave easily."

"Donor, please stay, I will give you something."

"Give it to you, hang it on the old tree outside the courtyard, and the wind will blow it, just like reciting a sutra."

With this blessing, we set off again.

2 The most beautiful - the cloudy and sunny sky

The senior brother said that the clouds seen in Mount Wutai are different from those seen in other places. At first I thought it was just a saying about loving a house and a bird, but once I experienced it, I really believed it.

The light rain originally forecast was only a few drops in the morning. During the climb, the small sky blue clouds on the left hand drifted over the top of the mountain... The large clouds in the sky on the right gradually dissipated and slowly appeared. It's sunny.

The mountain col seen in the distance is Taihuai Town where we are staying.

On the road, there were many believers who were prostrating themselves up the mountain, and admiration arose spontaneously. Several companions who were traveling together helped Master carry a section of luggage forward. As soon as they carried the luggage, everyone was walking as fast as flying. The original words are: As soon as I carry this bag, my eyesight is no longer blurred, my head is no longer dizzy, and I walk with more energy...

By the way, roads are being built in Dongtai, and this time my brother spent more than ten It took a few minutes to convince the guard and pull him out to lift the pole for us to let us go. Only then did the plan of driving up to the mountainside go smoothly. Otherwise, we would have to transfer to an official minivan to go up the mountain.

All the friends in the group said it was awesome!

When you reach the top of Dongtai, the sea of ??clouds is really beautiful! I heard from many people that the scenery seen from each station is different. Starting from Nantai and going around in a clockwise direction is a popular route for hikers. When will we do this together?

It was still sunny the next day, and I was lamenting that the cloudless blue sky was a little dull. When I raised my head, I saw two marshmallow clouds passing by... Do you think this is so effective?

With such beautiful scenery, the energy of our photography expert Uncle Liu was greatly released. He took pictures of ancient buildings, the sky, big trees, portraits, and signs...< /p>

We have extremely high requirements for the quality of the composition, and our mantra is: take another picture vertically! I even captured an image with Buddha’s light! Most of the beautiful scenery in this article was created by him!

As soon as I drove out of the Wutai Mountains, I immediately saw the familiar haze clouds, and I was completely convinced that the blue sky inside and outside the mountains was definitely not the same...

In view of the allusions to Manjushri Bodhisattva, it was completely I am ignorant, I only remember walking through Bodhisattva Peak, Pagyuan Temple, Wuye Temple, Dailuoding... I was lucky enough to encounter the Water and Land Dharma Assembly, and a Tibetan-speaking eminent monk "touched the top of the head to recite sutras and pray for blessings" for the children who were accompanying him. , well, this trip was all lucky!

The last stop is called Shuxiang Temple. There is a statue of Manjusri riding a lion in the temple, and we saw the legendary Buckwheat-headed Bodhisattva.

I passed by so many big temples in this part that it is almost difficult to recall every name. Thanks to Uncle Liu who always records the itinerary, I scanned his circle of friends many times before I was able to write it down...

The most fortunate thing is that in Luohu Temple, at the request of the master, the temple opened the power on an exception (usually only opened during grand festivals), allowing us to see the scene of "flowers blooming and Buddha appearing"! Wrapped in wooden lotus flowers are four Buddha statues, namely Sakyamuni Buddha, Amitabha Buddha, Medicine Buddha, and Maitreya Buddha. When the underground switch is pressed, the wooden lotus flowers slowly unfold, and the four Buddha statues gradually appear.

This mechanism, which was formed in the Ming Dynasty, can still be used after 500 years of erosion! The true physical image of Lord Rahula is enshrined on the second floor, and we were lucky enough to go upstairs to see it! The master is so awesome!

In the end, I only remembered the "Long Live Spring" to fetch N buckets of water... This Prajna Spring was formed in the Tang Dynasty. It is said that when Kangxi came here, he would not drink from this spring, so it is called Long Live Spring. When you come here, you have to drink spring water, pour it over your head and pray for blessings.

Important reminder: Bring a mineral water bottle with you when you come next time~ Otherwise, you will most likely be enthusiastically forced by the persistent children to drink a large bucket of Coke, just to drink an extra bucket of cool spring water... …

Special features of this trip: Sliced ??noodles all the way... The following are some restaurants that impressed me. The owner of the vegetarian restaurant even gave us two buckets The spring water was enshrined, and the spectacular scene of us cutting watermelon in the restaurant is still fresh in my memory!

The old canteen is next to the parking lot opposite "Shuxiang Temple". I had breakfast and lunch at his house the next day. The environment, boss and taste were very good.

Don’t be picky about the environment at Yiyuan Noodle House. It tastes good and will replenish your vital energy for climbing to Dongtai!

The environment of the vegetarian restaurant is very good. Fish-flavored shredded pork, sweet and sour pork loin, spicy hotpot... we have just returned from hiking and are satisfied!

Finally, let’s talk about the driving route:

This time we set off on Friday afternoon and returned on Sunday afternoon. The time spent on Saturday and Sunday morning was only enough to climb one Visit a few temples in Taihe, take your time and visit them several times...

It takes four and a half hours to leave and enter Beijing, which is very convenient. This time I took the ETC channel into Beijing. There was no parking security check and no traffic jams. After taking the Daxing Airport Expressway from the Daguang Expressway, I could drive at a speed of 140 kilometers per hour!

Driving in Wutai Mountain is quite congested, so it’s best to start early.

It will be very difficult to find a spot in the parking lot of Shuxiang Temple in the morning. It still depends on luck and teamwork. Someone has to get off the car in advance to occupy the parking space!

If you need to leave the scenic area when going to Dongtai, you should keep your tickets for the second verification.

Special thanks to Gongshuai who never stopped all the way. In order to safely deliver all the group members, he gave up the long-awaited mountain climbing and accompanied my sister and I on the cable car up and down.
