What is the luckiest thing that has ever happened to you?

When I was studying abroad, I went to apply for a visa and didn’t have a car to go back to school. When I was frustrated, I met a bus driver who took me back. When I was studying abroad, I needed to go to a neighboring town to renew my visa in the second year. It took about an hour and a half by bus from my town to the neighboring town, and I had a round trip ticket. It was very convenient because I was already familiar with everyone except me. I didn’t bring anything with me, including my visa information and tickets.

Turns out that day was a public holiday that I had no idea about, and there was no return car. When I asked about the situation at the station and confirmed that there was really no return train, and that all the people at the station disappeared one after another (the population there is very small, and there were only a few people at the station), I was still a little confused and did not recognize the reality.

Then I stood there and started thinking about what to do. My first thought was that I should go to the university in this city and find Chinese students to get help. Or go to the police station and get help from the police. As I thought about it, I started to cry, blaming myself for being so rash. Gradually, because no one started crying at the station, I felt very flustered.

At this time, a Middle Eastern man came with a beer bottle in his hand. He came over and invited me to their party, saying it was very fun. I was in a bad mood at the time, so I yelled at him to get out, shouting all the English curse words I could think of. The local security was still very good, so the Middle Eastern man left in despair.

Because I experienced such an experience, I cried even harder. I probably cried for almost an hour. I decided that I had to go home and couldn’t waste it anymore, and then I started walking out of the station. Later I thought that God probably really exists. Because at this moment a bus driver walked towards his car. I ran over and asked, where is your bus going?

He said he was going back to S?nderborg (the town where I studied. Obviously, this was a car going back to warehouse). I was so excited that I stammered. I didn’t know it was a holiday and was so stupid that I was trapped. After talking about what happened here, I asked him if he could take me back and showed me my ticket. The driver agreed immediately.

I felt that I was so lucky along the way. I couldn’t imagine that without this driver, I would be walking around asking where the police station was. Really, God bless him, he must be God sent, I am so grateful, always grateful, so blessed. I am still grateful to this day and thank him very, very much.
