The Confucian family has been studying and obeying the rites from generation to generation, and the story of "court instruction" of "poetry and propriety" has been told from generation to generation, which has become an unchangeable family instruction for children and grandchildren.

On February 16th-2th, the first lesson of the New Year in Xinhe Youth Business School, we explored the true aristocratic spirit through the study of "Poems and Rites".

On the last day of the course, we paid a tribute to Confucius through the "Confucius Sacrifice Ceremony", traveled through time and space, felt the power of poetic rites to moisten people's hearts, and planted a seed of "poetic rites handed down from generation to generation"!

Confucius attached importance to poetry because "if you don't learn poetry, you have nothing to say".

The Spring and Autumn Period of Confucius' life was the golden age of The Book of Songs, which formed a social fashion of expressing ambition with poems.

From the officials and doctors to the servants and lowly husbands, all the arguments quoted Poems to express their own purposes. It can be seen that "if you don't learn poetry, there is nothing to say" and there is no exaggeration.

The reason why Confucius paid attention to etiquette is that "without learning etiquette, there is no way to stand".

if a person doesn't learn etiquette, he will be at a loss, and he doesn't know how to treat people. How can he stand in his place and gain a foothold in society?

Confucius said that learning should be based on "writing and etiquette" and learning should be based on "poetry, etiquette and joy", both of which emphasized the need to establish oneself with etiquette.

"Sacrifice to Confucius"

There is a holy world in Confucius' heart. What he diligently strives for is that the world is for the public, that faith and reconciliation are maintained, that traitors seek closure but are not prosperous, and that thieves do not commit crimes.

He advocates starting from self-adjustment and personality improvement, so as to harmonize family, balance society and rule the world.

Some scholars call Confucius, Socrates, Sakyamuni and Jesus as "the founder of human thinking paradigm" and "the four wisdom superstars in the history of human culture".

On the last day of the course "Biography of Poetic Rites", we offered sacrifices to Confucius, the former teacher, and read the classics, so as to remember the sages, honor the virtues and honour the rites, and carry forward and inherit the excellent Chinese culture.

The Book of Rites. Sacrifice System says: "There are five rites, and nothing is more important than sacrifice."

Sacrifice is the most solemn, serious and sacred ceremony among many ceremonies.

At the ceremony of offering sacrifices to Confucius in the course of "Biography of Poetic Rites", all the students dressed in Hanfu, under the leadership of Teacher Sun Jian, paid their respects to Confucius.

The Book of Learning says: "Where learning is concerned, strict teachers are difficult, while strict teachers respect Tao, while respecting Tao and people know how to respect learning".

This sentence means that it is the most difficult thing to respect teachers for learning.

Only when we truly respect teachers can we respect knowledge from the bottom of our hearts. When learning is respected, we will naturally attach importance to learning.

the ceremony of offering sacrifices to Confucius is intended to inherit the aspirations of the sages and carry forward the sacred and unique studies. The opening ceremony that followed was one of the four great ceremonies in the life of ancient scholars, commonly known as breaking the veil.

Students will get up early on the first day of school and come to the school. The first teacher will teach them the most basic and simple truth of life, and teach them to read and write. Then they will pay homage to the statue of Confucius before entering the school.

In ancient times, the opening ceremony was extremely grand, and it was regarded as the four major ceremonies of life together with adult ceremony, wedding and funeral.

The opening ceremony is of great significance to every scholar. By saluting, one can not only express one's expectation of children's success, but also accept the essence of Chinese traditional culture in the ceremony.

On the first day of the course of Poetic Biography, I learned the key word "unity" through the activity of "magic pen and good horse". This is actually a game that tests teamwork. If we want to succeed, we must cooperate well with our teammates and unite as one.

In Cai Hongzheng's class, we experienced a process of engraving. Teacher Cai told us to try to communicate with stones. I think this is telling us to have awe of nature.

This also reminds me of what Teacher Sun told us about "having a heart for heaven and earth". There is no "heart" between heaven and earth, but there is a parent's heart for us.
