Suining is a county under the jurisdiction of Xuzhou City. In the early Han Dynasty, it was established as Suiling County. Because the Sui River flooded for many years in ancient times, and the people longed for peace, it was renamed Suining County in 1218, which means "Peace in the Sui River".

? Unexpectedly, on April 15, I saw a news report. Xuzhou had just lifted its lockdown, and Suining broke out. Under the general situation of "zero dynamics" in epidemic prevention and control across the country, Suining, a little-known town, was caught off guard and suddenly became a hot search topic. Three positive cases were found yesterday. As of 17:00 on April 16, 24 cases were found, and the number is expected to increase.

? Have a lot of interactions with Suining.

In 2014, the Suining Construction Office of the South-to-North Water Diversion Tailwater Diversion Project was located in Suining Water Bureau. Our company is the pipe supplier of this project, mainly supplying the construction section in Pizhou, which belongs to Pizhou Managed by the Water Bureau. Therefore, although the construction was in Pizhou at the time, I often went to Suining for meetings, especially to handle the progress payment of the project in the later stage. After all, he came and went in a hurry, but he didn't leave much of a deep impression.

? The office of Suining Water Conservancy Bureau was located on South Ring Road in the early stage, and later moved to North Ring Road. It happened to pass by the county many times. It seems that there is such a thing. I was informed of a meeting in Suining. I arrived at Beihuan Road with Manager Li, a participant from the Pizhou Water Construction Project Department, but the representative of Hebei Hengrun manufacturer still ran to South Ring Road to attend the meeting. Here The meeting started, and the representative of Hengrun was in a hurry and couldn't find his place. Because the supervision department is located in Ruikai International City, the surrounding area is also familiar with it.

? As the main road in the county, Tianhong Avenue indeed shows its majesty like a rainbow. As the name suggests, Central Street sits firmly in the center and runs through the east and west. Everywhere is full of small-town fireworks and has a leisurely atmosphere of life.

I seemed to be near the hotel where I was staying, and I brought back a box of Yaowan mung bean shochu. I also bought salt beans, just once, but I always felt they were not as good as Pizhou Laosong Salt Beans.

? The construction area starts at the junction of Suining and Pizhou, at the foot of Qiao Mountain, where you can visit the Qiao Mountain Scenic Area, including Gupi Town. Go to Gupi Town, where the supervisory historian is also stationed to handle business. I got to know Suining again in 2021 because of the deeds of Suining's faithful old man Du Changsheng, Du Changsheng, the prototype of the movie "Son's Debt Repaid by Father". In 2010, his eldest son and daughter-in-law died in accidents, leaving him with a debt of more than 3.3 million yuan. Without saying a word, the old man said, "Even if I lose everything, I still have to pay off these debts." The old man in his seventies just straightened up his spine and paid off all the debts with interest in nearly five years. The hardships involved are difficult to describe in words. Compared with this honest old man, the old gangsters now would probably feel ashamed. In 2015, Du Changsheng was awarded the title of National Model of Honesty and Trustworthiness. In October 2021, the old man passed away due to illness. But his spirit of integrity remains.

During the Spring Festival at home, I saw our Zhu family tree for the first time with my 86-year-old uncle. Only then did I know that he had a deep connection with Suining. In ancient times, the Shanzhu family was divided into Yanyitang and Zhongxiao hall, but tracing back from this is somewhat unclear. After many inquiries, the Gudan Zhu Family Council and Suining Guangyutang Zhu Family descendants discussed the matter. In 2017, Yanyi Tang, Zhongxiao Tang and Guangyu Tang of Gudan Zhu Family were merged and returned to their origin. Those of us who work hard outside all year round generally don’t take these things into consideration.

? After all, it involves Suining, and the situation in this regard is indeed beyond my expectation. Tracing back to the source, I really didn’t expect that Suining could have such close emotions. Of course, various surnames across the country continue to carry out such ancestor worship and genealogy activities. He suddenly felt an inexplicable sense of intimacy towards Suining.

? Because I saw the epidemic in Suining, I paid special attention to it. Everyone sincerely hopes that the epidemic will pass soon.
