Tell me what it was like to be beaten as a child?
Three scenes, deeply memorable.
Scene 1:
Once I stole money from home to buy toys, and was hung up and beaten! I was really hung up. There are ceiling fans in rural houses. The top was tied with a rope, and one of my hands and feet was tied below and whipped with a cane!
Scenario 2:
When I was a child, I loved doing bombshell work. Once I found a very fine wire with my cousin, and the two of them clamped it hard with vise pliers, but it didn't budge. Then I thought of one person holding it with pliers, and the other person hitting the pliers with a hammer. After hitting it a few times, it had an effect. When we were about to finish, something tragic happened: the pliers broke and split into two. We were all dumbfounded. What a coincidence, dad came back from work. When I saw it, I immediately came to my senses and ran out without stopping. When I almost reached the corner, something flew behind my head and half of the pliers were broken off. Fortunately, I ran fast and turned into a turning alley, and the pliers hit someone's wall. This scene scared the aunt next door! Just in case...
Scenario 3:
I had never been to the county when I was a child. Once my father went to the county to sell sweet potatoes. I begged for a long time before my father brought him. I'll go to the county seat to have a look. After returning home, someone asked my father how much a pound of sweet potatoes cost, and I was quick to talk and gave him a price. At that time, there was a slap on the face: If you don’t know, don’t talk nonsense! I have always been confused, what did I do wrong? It wasn’t until I got older and became more sensible that I realized that I had suffered a lot just to sell it at a good price!
There is also a kneeling scene, I forgot why!
One time I forgot what mistake I had made and climbed into a big tree to hide. Unknown to the passage of time, I fell asleep in the tree and fell down. Fortunately, there was straw under the trees in the countryside before. Otherwise, the consequences will be disastrous!
Another time, during the summer holidays in rural areas, I had a drink and went to the well to fetch water with my kettle. There were two large wells in rural areas before, one for drinking water and the other for storing water for washing things. Some friends were bathing in the well that stored water, and the surrounding area got wet. When I was walking back with water, I accidentally dropped the kettle. When I got up, I saw that the kettle was empty, the inner tank was broken, and it was full of broken glass! I was so frightened at the time that I was afraid of being beaten later. I walked for more than an hour and took refuge at my grandma’s house!
The above scene was not even in junior high school, but now that I recall it, my eyes are red.
