Generally speaking, the safe way is to inquire, discuss and listen to suggestions from colleagues with good relations in the personnel department first.

So if you want to do this, you must be fully prepared.
When I was in charge of the personnel department, whenever the company involved in cadre promotion or job transfer, there were always some far-sighted colleagues who would try their best to find out from us.
As for personnel, if confidential information is not involved, basic information can still be given to the other party, even some express or implied information, so that the other party can understand the company's intentions.
Second, meet the leader alone, preferably not in the office.
Some people talk to leaders about job transfer, and often rush into the leadership office and ask for it when they open their mouths.
In my opinion, these people also have a considerable chance of failure. Why?
First, the leader's office has ears. If the sound insulation measures are not good, the leaders are worried about talking to you about the details of this post transfer.
If the other person speaks too softly, it will be bad for others to hear.
Second, the leadership is busy. If you knock at the door to talk, maybe the other person is just inconvenient, so you are not in the mood to listen to your demands seriously.
Based on the above two reasons, the best way is to make an appointment with the leader alone and go out for tea or dinner. By the way, this transfer requirement is mentioned.
But as long as the leader doesn't hate your situation very much, I believe there is still a great chance to help you.
Third, the content of the conversation needs to be carefully designed.
It's not so easy to talk to leaders about job transfer. In my opinion, this must be carefully designed.
First of all, we should think from the perspective of leaders.
Imagine you are a leader. For what reason do you agree to your transfer? Or what advantages do you have to be qualified for the new position?
Secondly, let the leader know the purpose of your transfer.
It is obviously not enough just to ask for a transfer. What is the purpose of your transfer? This must be made clear to the other party.
It is best to arouse his sympathy or * * *, so the probability of agreeing with you is great.
Finally, speech skills need to fully respect leaders and express a modest attitude.
Never put pressure on the leader, because it will only backfire and cause the other party's disgust. Speak softly and make it sound comfortable.
