I wonder what you want to communicate. I am a foreigner in the province and have worked in Foshan for more than 5 years. I feel that Foshan is a city with relatively developed industries and many foreigners. Maybe I speak Cantonese myself, so I don't feel that foreigners are discriminated against, and the unit doesn't feel that mainlanders are discriminated against or anything. But because I still belong to a family without a car or a house, I have no sense of belonging. But in Foshan, apart from my colleagues at work, I have no real friends, which is a bit lonely.
