Class II animal infectious diseases refer to diseases that can cause significant economic losses and require strict control and elimination measures. When a Category II animal infectious disease occurs, the epidemic situation should be reported immediately; on the basis of rapid epidemic investigation, the animal husbandry and veterinary authorities at the same level should delineate the epidemic area and threatened area; take thorough disinfection and elimination measures in the epidemic area; Carry out emergency preventive vaccination for susceptible animals in the area.

The third category of animal infectious diseases refers to those that are common and frequent, may cause significant economic losses, and require control and purification. When Category III animal infectious diseases occur, the local people's government and animal husbandry and veterinary departments shall organize prevention, treatment and purification in accordance with the animal disease prevention plan and the relevant regulations of the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Administrative Department of the State Council.
