Notes on hiking in Cangshan, Dali, with hiking routes.

Cangshan Mountain in Dali has become the choice of many climbers because of its dazzling beauty. Cangshan * * * has 19 peaks, many of which are covered with snow all year round, and there are many azaleas in the low altitude area of Cangshan. They won't open until the most beautiful time in May, and there will be flowers here in June.

Cangshan route:

1. From the ancient city to the quarry, chartered cars are generally 20 yuan. This can reduce physical strength to a certain extent. The walk from the quarry will be difficult. It takes about 2,800 meters to climb to an altitude of 4 120 meters, and it may take about 10 hours.

There is a mountain road in the quarry, which leads directly to Wangyun Pavilion. Walk directly for about two hours, and Wangyun Pavilion is suitable for rest. When we arrived at Wangyun Pavilion, the altitude was about 3,200 meters.

It used to take four hours from Wangting to Xiaocenfeng TV relay station at an altitude of 4092 meters, and it was difficult to climb there. After that, you can camp at the relay station, where there is electricity and water, and you can have a little rest.

There's only one road, and no signposts are needed. It takes about 40 minutes from the TV relay station to Ximatan at an altitude of 3950 meters.

2. There are too many ropeways now;

A more labor-saving way is also recommended to take the cable car directly to Xima Beach, and then start climbing. Or take a cableway and ride the dragon and girl pool to climb the mountain.

Strictly speaking, camping in Ximatan is not allowed. Especially in mountainous areas, cooking by fire is strictly controlled. It takes about three hours from Matan to Malong Peak.

3. Going down the mountain is relatively simple. You can go to Dali University from Yujufeng! This is a very near road! You can also go straight down from Qingbi Stream to Gantong Temple, which is a relatively easy way.

4. Climb Xiaocenfeng TV relay station (4 100 meters above sea level), take the cableway to Zhonghe Hall, and then climb Ximatan (about 3600 meters above sea level). This section is the best part of the scenery! But it's also dangerous. Go up again and you'll have to stay in the mountains!

In Cangshan in July and August, the changeable weather is the strangest. You may have a sunny day at the foot of the mountain, but when you get to the mountain, you will encounter fog, hail or snow.

And hiking shoes must be awesome. In addition, raincoats are essential.

Cangshan Ximatan cableway fare:

22 yuan/person (including tickets for Tianlong Babu Studios and Cangshan National Geopark);

Tickets from the middle station of the ropeway to Ximatan Slide:

30 yuan/person.

Hua Dian Ba Hua Dian Ba, a scenic spot in Dali, Yunnan, belongs to a very rich basin on the top of Cangshan Mountain. The flower season is full of flowers and the scenery is gorgeous.

Transportation:

There are two routes from the Western Zhou Dynasty to Huadian Dam: one starts from Zhoucheng, goes west at the foot of Canglang Peak, then goes along the strange Panshan Road to Xiaohuaba, and then goes to Huadian Dam Center, which takes about 6 hours; One starts from Xizhou Town, goes west to Honggui Mountain in Wutai Mountain, climbs to the top of the mountain, and then goes north to Shankou. It also takes 6 hours from Pinglu to the center of Huadianba.

Travel tips:

(1) It's a mountain road to go to Huadianba in April and May. I suggest going together.

(2) If you encounter the rainy season, you should prepare yourself, and you need to pay special attention to waterproof and cold protection in the mountains.

(3) The garland dam farm is simple and clean, with hot water, so it is a good place to stay nearby.
