I was on vacation during this period, and I happened to take my mother for a physical check-up during the vacation. I remember that the last physical check-up was when she was in Shanghai in 2012, and then she went to Lanzhou to take care of my cousin's child.

But every time you go to a hospital, some doctors will prescribe you a lot of orders for repeated examinations for various reasons without looking at the examinations you have done before. In fact, similar things have happened before. I've been here many times and it makes me speechless

"Maybe for some people, this is just a small thing, just spending hundreds or thousands of dollars more, but after all, this kind of thing is nothing. In this way, not to mention other things? Not to mention hundreds of dollars, thousands of dollars are not a small amount for many civilian families."

If this check-up has been for a while, then there is nothing to say, needless to say. They all need to be re-examined, but if they have just been inspected, is it necessary to repeat the inspection within a week or two?

What are the responsibilities of a doctor? Isn’t it just to help patients and treat patients? But the patient trusts you so much and trusts you with his body. Is it okay with your conscience if you do this?

I went in and showed the doctor my mother’s physical examination report and explained the situation.

Then the doctor said: "Please ask the hospital where you are doing physical examination whether the report is a chest X-ray or a CT. If it is a chest X-ray, there is no need to do it again. Regular review is enough. If it is a "It's a chest X-ray, and I need to do a CT for further observation." I called the medical examination hospital, and the medical examination hospital told me that it was a chest X-ray. Then I made an appointment for my mother to have a CT examination.

This doctor is very warm and ethical.

Think about the many doctors in my hometown when I was a child, including some doctors in ancient times who sincerely cared about their patients, and some even did not charge for treatment.

There are also some doctors in hospitals who have a very bad attitude and become impatient if you ask them more. The patients are doing this because they don’t understand, but because they believe in you and trust you. Question.
