Why do daughters-in-law hate in-laws?

If the daughter-in-law happens to be a good-natured doormat, their unhappiness will be more obvious. This may be a personality problem or an unhealthy mentality.

It is possible that the two generations have different ideas. After all, the concept of mother-in-law and daughter-in-law is definitely different. There is a generation gap, so the mother-in-law may not understand some things that the daughter-in-law has done, and the daughter-in-law cannot understand her mother-in-law.
