China people just love to join in the fun!

Should I risk being slapped by everyone or should I express my honest opinion?

First of all, different national conditions have different festivals and have their own national characteristics. Take Christmas today as an example. Everyone put a Christmas hat on WeChat, and found various names to eat, drink and have fun to celebrate this foreign festival. Always led by the hype of the merchants.

As we all know, the real Christmas in the west is no less than the Spring Festival in China. With pre-preparation, students will take a long vacation, and every family will prepare a list in advance: toys and clothes that children need, hugs and companionship from relatives, rare reunion of extended families and so on. And there are many warm and touching plots.

But what did we do for Christmas? It has become a show of love, a gift PK, and a naked commercial consumption festival. Our Christmas has no fairy tales, no expectation of waiting, and no strong humanistic atmosphere unique to this festival.

Similarly, any Valentine's Day has become a holiday for China people to give gifts. Every couple is cruel in these festivals. They collectively send roses, eat western food, watch movies and stay in hotels. This is not the original intention of Valentine's Day. There is also Halloween, where children make some scary and unique shapes, knock on the door for a few nights, and so on.

Fortunately, we have heard many normal voices this year, calling on us not to be infatuated with foreign festivals. In fact, our own festivals in China are very meaningful and have cultural connotations, depending on whether our mothers are willing to inherit and carry forward them.

Go to your foreign festivals. We will celebrate our Spring Festival soon. Will foreigners feel our feelings?
