1. Inspection and maintenance

In addition to the newly installed system, before using the old floor heating system, it is necessary to check the system equipment, pipelines and valves to see if there are leaks or leaks. ; Check whether the pressure gauge is within the normal range; maintain the water treatment equipment in the system, such as filters, water softeners, etc., clean the filters, and replace and add consumables.

Many people think that the floor heating system is in a closed environment, no dust will enter, and no cleaning is required. In order to maintain the efficient operation of the system, it is recommended to hire a professional floor heating company to clean and maintain the floor heating pipelines and equipment every 2-3 heating seasons.

2. Slowly warm up

When using floor heating for the first time, you should pay attention to slowly heating up. Since there is no guarantee that cement and other floors do not contain water vapor, in order to avoid deformation of the floor caused by moisture rising when the temperature rises, the temperature rise of the floor heating should be moderately controlled so that the floor can be dried step by step until it reaches the design water supply temperature. You don’t have to worry too much about using it after that, just one step is enough.

Recommendation: The water temperature should be 18°C ??on the first day, 25°C on the second day, 30°C on the third day, and then rise to normal temperature on the fourth day, that is, the water temperature is 45°C.

3. The temperature should not be too high

It should be noted that when using floor heating, the surface temperature should not exceed 30°C, and the water pipe temperature should not exceed 60°C. If it exceeds this temperature, it will affect Floor life and usage cycle. In an average home, the room temperature in winter reaches about 22°C, which is already very comfortable. If the temperature rises normally, it will not affect the use of the geothermal floor.

4. Pay attention to humidification and ventilation

If the climate is dry in winter, you can consider using a humidifier. If there is no fresh air system installed in your home, you can open the windows every morning to ventilate it.

5. Floor debris

When using floor heating during the heating season, do not cover the heat-dissipating floor with carpets or debris. This will cause the floor heating to lose its ideal value after being turned on for a period of time. The heating effect is very different; when choosing furniture, it is recommended to choose furniture with legs as much as possible.

6. Not hot

Usually the hot return pipe of the floor heating inlet pipe is cold because there is air accumulation in the floor heating pipe. Before each heating starts, the heating pipe system has not been running for a long time. , there will be gas inside.

In this case, those with strong hands-on skills can adjust and set the floor heating exhaust valve by themselves. But remember, make small movements when deflating to prevent it from breaking. 7. If you don’t use it in the short term, you won’t need it in the long term

The family will go out to play for two days, and the floor heating will not be used in the short term. You can lower the temperature instead of turning off the floor heating directly. If the floor heating is not used in winter or for a long time, if the indoor temperature is lower than 5°C, all the water in the floor heating system should be blown out with an air compressor to prevent the system from freezing and damaging pipes and other equipment.

8. Initial use

Initial heating (operation and debugging) should be carried out under the guidance of the technical personnel of the floor heating company. It is strictly prohibited to put it into use without debugging.

9. Radiator

If there are mixed radiators, please note that there should be no covering on the radiator. You can add a wet towel to increase the air humidity.
