Humorous

Wang Guowei was the first person to translate English words humorously into Chinese, and it was translated into Oumuya. Since then, there have been many translations of humor, including Li Qingya's quip, Chen Wangdao's glib tone, Yi Peiji's good scolding, Tang Tonghou's harmony and Lin Yutang's humor. In the end, Lin's translation became popular, and Lin was also called "the master of humor".

In Shanghai, Lin Yutang founded The Analects of Confucius, The World on Earth and The Wind of the Universe, advocating humorous literature. He said: "Life is alive, but sometimes someone laughs and sometimes someone laughs."

Lin Yutang believes that China people only have jokes except serious words, so he advocates: "You might as well put some unimportant things in the books or editorials of great writers to avoid life being too dry and boring."
