How to fertilize succulents correctly? Tell me my opinion. Let's have a look.

Due to the gradual decrease of temperature, most succulents have begun to show signs of growth under the premise of cold and warm. In this case, many flower lovers think it is necessary to fatten succulents, fearing that succulents will not grow well because they don't fatten. Recently, many flower lovers are asking, how to fatten succulents correctly? What fertilizer is stronger? It is estimated that there can be no unified answer to this question. Let me briefly talk about some of my views for your reference.

One of the principles of fertilizing succulents is that the simpler the better. I just want to see fertilizers that can make succulents color or germinate. I have my own reasons for fertilizing succulents, which can be summarized into two aspects:

First: Types of fertilizers

So far, I have four kinds of chemical fertilizers on hand, namely alum fertilizer water for adjusting soil acidity, fertilizer liquid for short-term fertilizer and water-soluble fertilizer, compound fertilizer with average fertility and beer sprinkling:

Alum fertilizer and water: If you raise meat outdoors and often fall into precipitation, you can adjust the ph value to balance all kinds of beneficial bacteria in the soil, which is more conducive to the growth and inhalation of succulent roots. If all the meat is kept indoors for a long time and the fleshy soil is watered with drinking water for a long time, the soil layer may agglomerate. Faced with this situation, we can add a little alum fertilizer when watering normally.

Fertilizer solution and water-soluble fertilizer: This is my most commonly used fertilizer. The advantage of this kind of fertilizer is that its fertilizer efficiency is relatively short, and it is usually irrigated with water. When water is lost, fertility is almost released. In the growing period, if you want the lateral buds to grow more and more round as soon as possible and look more and more symmetrical, you can use fertilizer solution or water-soluble fertilizer, which can not only prevent the meat from growing seriously, but also achieve the effect of supplementing vitamins.

Compound fertilizer: In my impression, compound fertilizer is rarely used. Generally, some meat piles or large pots with high content of particulate matter in nutrient soil will be put, which has a long fertility. Fertility has a cycle time of more than half a year or even a long time, which is equivalent to base fertilizer, and fertility is slowly released. At first, it will continue to mix soil, and then it will not be used again. Sheep dung with better hair is more suitable for many people who love flowers. People who are interested in flowers are worth a try.

Sprinkle beer: In fact, many so-called domestic garbage disposal in daily life can be used to water green plants, such as expired pills, eggshells and exocarp. , can be solved. I've tried it before and found it inconvenient. I can't master the fermentation level well. After that, only beer spilled water. The simple way is to open the remaining beer for a day, then mix the beer with water and immediately irrigate the roots according to the ratio of 1:50. It is suggested that beer should be drunk as soon as possible by sprinkling water after mixing. If it is left for a long time, it will ferment itself.

Second, under what circumstances should meat be fertilized?

When should I fatten the meat? Whether the fleshy meat that has just entered the basin for one or two years will be fertilized intentionally, especially indoors, is not particularly certain. For example, some varieties with particularly fast growth and development will be properly fertilized in the second year, mainly with fertilizer solution. If these situations occur, it is very necessary to fertilize.

If you want to see flowers with very strong flowering level, you need to fertilize before and after flowering. After all, blooming is very nutritious. In the growing period, if succulents grow slowly, fertilization can be considered. For some varieties with very strong pot bursting level, if you want to make the lateral buds grow more evenly, you should fertilize them in time. For those varieties that keep popping lateral buds, I will fertilize them in autumn and spring. In addition, small succulent plants and their potted flowerpots that do not pour pots for a long time should also be fertilized regularly.

To sum up, although fertilization and fleshiness will not harm the growth and development like bonsai soil, sunshine, watering, temperature difference and natural ventilation, if the fertilization method and timing are suitable, or it can play a icing on the cake, it is likely that people who love flowers have their own habits. My principle is that the simpler the better. It should be noted that most succulents have poor tolerance and need to apply thin fertilizer frequently to avoid phytotoxicity.
